We’re not buying Star‘s story about Kevin Federline threatening to have Britney‘s hair analyzed for drugs. They claim he planned to use the results against her in court in their battle for child custody. The tabloid claimed THAT’S why Britney cut off all her hair. If that were the case, why would Britney leave all her chopped off hair behind on the salon floor? She knew it was collectible and could easily end up on eBay or in a lab. We don’t believe the lice story either.

Pimp My Ride star Xzibit brought ten people to Arnie Morton’s for steak dinners not long ago. He flashed a diamond encrusted watch that looked like it was worth half a million dollars. The group drank and ate their way up to a $1700 tab which Xzibit paid, but he left a shockingly miserly tip of $100 for the hardworking server! Here’s a guy who can pimp a car but can’t tip a waiter.

Here’s Lindsay last night at Winston’s AGAIN. (Hyde seems to be OVER – right?) The most noteworthy thing about this picture is her big red bag full of necessities like water bottles. Anyway this particular bag is not in the stratosphere price-wise. Usually girls like Lindsay carry bags that cost thousands, but this one is in the hundreds and a beauty, at that. It’s an Onna Ehrlich bag – $395 at Fred Segal in Santa Monica.

BRITNEY SPEARS; BOOZING WITH A VENGEANCE

We just found out exactly what Britney was doing Sunday night at her friend’s party that was at On The Rox – not the Roxy. Brit’s friend had rented out the private club On The Rox and arranged for karaoke to be set up. Britney arrived with girlfriends who roamed around and left her alone at a corner table in her blonde wig. But Britney DRANK with a vengeance. She asked that all her cocktails be served in plastic cups SO PEOPLE WOULD THINK IT WAS SODA. She downed tequila, vodka, Midori sour, and asked for champagne. What a mix. The karaoke started and a guy got up and started to sing Brit’s “Hit Me Baby, One More Time” hit. “Britney freaked out and was nearly crying.” another guest told us. She asked the manager to “PLEASE STOP THIS SONG” and he said “I can’t do that – he’s a friend of the party host” -he didn’t realize who she was, so she told him. He had no time to react, because she stormed off in a fury. All we can say is thank goodness for rehab.

24’s Kiefer Sutherland is leaving Domnick’s in West Hollywood after having dinner with his pretty companion. He walked out with a huge smile on his face holding hands with this equally cheerful young woman. Obviously SHE was more intoxicating than cocktails because Kiefer was pleasantly sober for a change and as always, greeted fans and press outside. He IS a happy guy. The back of his nylon jacket said” Iron Workers Local #1 Chicago”

Did Victoria Beckham think she could live in LA and NOT be photographed? She flipped out at Disneyland and hollered at the paparazzi who followed her all around the magic kingdom. (Apparently she assumed it was a bra-free zone.) Her nanny looks rather taken aback by the outburst. The Beckhams, by the way, have been asked to appear in a “Got Milk?” ad with milk mustaches. Maybe they’ll say yes, because it’s good publicity for the Spice Girls reunion. And after all, Madonna and Elizabeth Hurley did it, so why not?

MACAULAY CULKIN AND MILA KUNIS: PRE HONEYMOON?

No wonder Macaulay Culkin and his girlfriend Mila Kunis (That 70’s Show) are still happy together. He knows how to treat a girl! Actually they’re engaged – he gave her a ruby ring last year. This past weekend Mac whisked Mila away from their West Hollywood condo to Santa Barbara and they checked into the ultrafancy Biltmore Four Seasons hotel (where rooms START at $800.) They enjoyed three days of pampering and relaxing, and were in such a good mood they didn’t mind having their picture taken.

Here’s Nick Carter leaving Mr Chow last week with a mystery girl (we think her name is Julie) It’s unusual because this is not generally one of his hangouts, but Mr Chow’s seaweed is VERY low -cal. Judging by his face he’s lost a few pounds. Those rigorous workouts with his strict trainer at 24 Hour Fitness in West Hollywood are paying off.

LINDSAY LOHAN: STILL A REGULAR

On her first weekend after “completing” rehab, it seems like Lindsay Lohan couldn’t resist hitting all her favorite bars. One stop was Winston’s in West Hollywood, and other patrons say she entered looking “like a train wreck – stringy hair, greasy makeup, lots of eye makeup. (With water bottle in hand.) She sat with friends who bought her another bottle of water, but she basically “ignored them all night and fiddled with her Blackberry.” At closing time she immediately fired up a cigarette and exited throught the back door “just in case.” We wonder – does she talk about these visits to bars at her AA meetings?
