JACK NICHOLSON AND JOHN TRAVOLTA: SOMETHING IN COMMON
These are the two most interesting looks WE found at the Oscars: John Travolta’s hairpiece doesn’t quite match the color of the hair on the sides of his head, and the style is rather derivative of Hugh Grant. Usually his augmented hair is much more natural looking, as seen in his latest movie Wild Hogs. And Jack Nicholson’s shaved head was a big surprise. Now we know he did it for his movie with Morgan Freeman, The Bucket List, about two cancer patients who take off on an adventure. The movie wrapped a week ago. When Jack first shaved his hair for the role, The National Enquirer was hot on his trail for a medical scoop, but he turned out to be okay.
Truth is stranger than fiction. The REAL reason Mischa Barton and Cisco Adler broke up has NOTHING to do with those awful nude photos of him on the internet. In fact, It was Cisco’s idea to split. He has been concerned about Mischa’s excessive “partying” (and you know what we mean.) Mischa frequently went out with the girls and came home wasted. Her excessive behavior caused personality changes – moodiness, crying jags, and paranoia. Cisco and some of Mischa’s worried girlfriends got together and staged something like an intervention. They want her to clean up her act. Mischa was OUTRAGED. Cisco told her “If you don’t do this – we’re THROUGH.” Predictably, Mischa refused and Cisco stuck to his guns. He’s having a hard time, but his friends are keeping him strong.
Mary J Blige claims to have made some major changes in her life but SOME things remain the same. She was one of the twenty or so celebrities to take part in the GM Ten Annual Fashion Show. The celebrities wore designer clothes and introduced the new and futuristic models of General Motors cars on the runway during a big charity event at Paramount. The stars were given donations to their favorite charities and free car leases for doing so. A 
Cameron Diaz spent a steamy Saturday night before the Oscars with Tyrese Gibson. Observers at Hollywood after hours club Xenii say the pair looked like a romantic couple and danced together ALL NIGHT. Some very sexy maneuvers and plenty of sweat. Recently Tyrese was accused of roughing up his pregnant girlfriend but he was cleared of all accusations. But he does seem to have strings attached. Just last week Cameron was spotted with Oscar nominee Djimon Hounsou, so she’s out there playing the field. We wonder if she’s hanging out with sexy black guys to get back at her exboyfriend Justin Timberlake – because he always wanted to BE a sexy black guy.
Cher seems to be getting in shape for her next Las Vegas show and she looks great, but we’re struck by her resemblence to sex video star Kim Kardashian. She could be Kim’s older sister! We really love Cher, but we may never get used to those lips.
When Ray J showed up at a Hollywood club holding hands with Lil’ Kim on Saturday night everybody wondered- What happened to Whitney Houston? Just a few weeks ago, Ray and Whitney seemed to be having a great time in Las Vegas. Ray’s friends say it’s not over with Whitney. She simply tries to avoid clubs while she’s in recovery. Lil’ Kim is a longtime friend of Ray – a few years back they had a hit song together “Wait a Minute.” (see photo) Right now they’re planning to remake an updated version of the same hit. So that’s what they’re talking about. Ray’s friends insist Whitney is STILL very much in the picture.
Even American Idol winners can have a bad restaurant experience now and then. Taylor Hicks likes to take his hometown Alabama buddies out to dinner in upscale LA restaurants. He brought his pals to French 75 Bistro in Burbank and they were seated at a back table. The guys sat at the table for twenty minutes and for some reason no one paid any attention to them. Eventually, they felt snubbed and just got up and left. Embarrassed, Taylor took his friends to another place he frequented nearby and he told the host what happened. “I guess they thought we were country bumpkins and didn’t have any money.” he shrugged. The host seated them at a desirable table and made sure Taylor and his friends had a great meal.
