Partygoers at Kevin Federline’s birthday bash at Pure in Las Vegas were disappointed that his estranged wife Britney Spears didn’t show up. Kevin’s OTHER ex Shar Jackson DID turn up however, fueling speculation about their relationship. Her real friends were relieved that Britney had the sense NOT to attend. We were AMAZED to learn how much money celebrities can take home just by sponsoring these parties. When Jay-Z has a party he walks away with $250,000 in CASH. A BAG of money and it’s all legal! Insiders estimate that Kevin hauled in $100,000 for HIS party, plus private jets, fancy suites, and all expenses paid for him and his friends. We wonder if he was worth it since Britney didn’t show.

PARIS HILTON AND HER RIGHT HAND MAN

We cannot pass up the opportunity to comment on Paris Hilton and the most important man in her life – her publicist/driver Elliot Mintz. Elliot, an expert on denials, is spending so much time with Paris that he’s starting to look like her – note the hair color. All he needs now are blue contact lenses. Oh, and don’t overlook the fact that they are DRESSING ALIKE too!

SUGE KNIGHT: HOW THE MIGHTY HAVE FALLEN

What a sight! According to a reliable source, two black and white police cars plus a car with detectives pulled up to the fanciest condo high rise building on Wilshire Blvd. Friday and the police proceeded to EVICT Suge Knight – apparently for not paying his mortgage. Usually it doesn’t take so many officers to enforce an eviction but maybe thery were jittery about how the exconvict would react. (Can you blame them?) After a barrage of lawsuits and problems with his label Death Row Records, Knight went bankrupt last year. Wealthy neighbors like Farrah Fawcett, Carol Burnett and Patti LaBelle may have witnessed his dramatic departure from that exclusive address. All Suge’s possessions were loaded into a truck that sat PARKED in front of the building because he couldn’t decide where to go with them! We don’t think he’ll be sleeping on Snoop Dogg’s couch.

AMY WINEHOUSE AND KELLY OSBOURNE: ODD COUPLE

Kelly Osbourne looks like a schoolteacher next to Amy Winehouse as they walk into The Roxy for Perez Hilton’s party Friday night. Once inside, both of these bad girls had incidents with security guards. Kelly was caught crouched on the kitchen floor pouring herself drinks from the bar supplies and she was reprimanded. Amy is still having problems with men – she ran up to a guard complaining “That asshole over there keeps bugging me and I want him THROWN OUT now!” The guard asked her to point out the offensive guy. She did and he said “I can’t kick him out – that’s John Stamos– he’s an invited guest!” “John WHO?” she was heard muttering. Oh, and Paris Hilton demanded to have the bathroom blocked off so she could use it alone. The manager wouldn’t allow it and – perhaps because of her attitude – no one bothered to tell Paris that there was a private VIP bathroom available upstairs.

ELIZABETH TAYLOR: NOTHING BUT THE BEST

Looks like Elizabeth Taylor heard that metallics are in fashion this season so she pulled out her shiny stuff for an evening at Mr Chow. She looks happy. Recently she bought a Mercedes Maybach car for $375,000 and she doesn’t even drive! She also splurged on a custom interior in a flattering color scheme and she had her initials embossed in various places. Liz likes to be chauffeured around in style.

TOM AND KATIE: NO PRYING EYES

Nobody can accuse Tom Cruise of being an environmental fanatic. Not only does he not drive a hybrid car, but he and Katie arrived at the Mentor LA awards chauffeured in a huge black Suburban. The unique part was the fact that it was curtained in the middle so the driver couldn’t see the passengers.

PEGGY LIPTON: NEW ATTITUDE

It was a blast from the past when Peggy Lipton showed up on the red carpet at the Mentor LA event at 20th Century Fox. As she breezed past photographers, a young one complained to a longtime snapper “I missed her!” The veteran photographer shrugged “You should have been around in the 70’s – she was a bitch on wheels!” Peggy HEARD the comment, turned around and said “What?” The older photographer explained “Back when you were on The Mod Squad, you wouldn’t let us take pictures. You were at The Daisy Club every night with Michael Cole and sometimes Clarence Williams too. You were really uncooperative.” The older and wiser Peggy smiled and told him “If you forgive me, I’ll forgive you” and she posed for this picture.

DEMI MOORE: IS SHE OR ISN'T SHE?

A witness at this Mentor event last week swears that Demi Moore looked pregnant. We don’t see it. Yes, she’s wearing figure concealing black, but there are no apparent changes in shape. Maybe she just gained a couple of pounds. She’s as pretty as ever, but Ashton could really use a haircut.

WHO IS PHIL SPECTOR KIDDING?

spectors2This Phil Spector makeover is more than just a new blonde Beatle wig. Look at that FACE! What HASN’T he had done? He’s been lifted top to bottom and not only did he take the bags out of his eyes, he seems to have had laser surgery so he no longer need glasses. And definitely a necklift – the turkey neck is gone. He used an old trick that all women know- change your hairstyle and people aren’t as likely to notice plastic surgery. We wonder who the surgeon was, and how much he paid that young woman to marry him.

One glance at this photo of Rumer Willis and you just KNOW Bruce has a lot to worry about. She looks like she’s inherited a few of his characteristrics – maybe a smart alecky and rebellious attitude. She’s just eighteen and already hitting the hot clubs in Hollywood and hanging with girls who’ve been around. Finishing school in Switzerland might be a good idea before things get out of hand.
