WHATEVER HAPPENED TO ASHLEY HAMILTON?

ash_gallery2cut.jpgBelieve it or not, a reader has requested current information on Ashley Hamilton, the handsome but flighty son of George Hamilton and Alana Stewart. (Remember – he was married to Shannen Doherty for ten minutes.) After years of bouncing around Europe and doing a lot of drugs, Ashley, now 32, says he is currently three months sober and living in his own apartment in Hollywood. (For years he slept on friends’ couches.) He’s not into acting now – he’s into music and song writing. He’s determined to stay sober so he’s avoiding his old friends like Robbie Williams. No more clubbing- Ashley goes to AA meetings every day. His father George is so happy about Ashley’s sobriety that he gave him a new fully loaded black Cadillac.

Was Cameron Diaz inspired by Steve Martin’s old “arrow in the head” comedy routine into wearing this headgear? Or is this a nice way of saying “fork you” to photographers? Actually, she doesn’t have a fork in her head – Cameron happened to be right in front of a restaurant sign as she leaves her gym. But it IS a funny picture, isn’t it?

KEANU REEVES AND HIS MARRIED EX GIRLFRIEND

Omigosh! Keanu Reeves was actually out on a DATE last night. He and his pretty blonde companion had dinner at the very celebrity friendly Il Sole restaurant on Sunset. Keanu cleaned himself up a little, but he was still rather hairy. And when is the last time he washed that car? His date appears to be his old girlfriend from years ago – British actress/photographer Amanda de Cadenet. Apparently they’re just friends now – Amanda is married to Nick Valensi of The Strokes, and last year she had twins.

It’s after 2 AM, Mr and Mrs Hilton– do you know where your daughter is? We found her! Paris is beating on the back door of Greenblatt’s Deli on Sunset Blvd. Either she wants to use the restroom or she’s dying for a turkey sandwich. Either way, she’s out of luck – they refused to open up for her.

BLADES OF GLORY: ANOTHER REASON TO LOVE JON HEDER

With Blades of Glory what you see is what you get. The visuals are the funniest parts and you will LAUGH OUT LOUD. Kind of a Strictly Ballroom on skates. A lot of Napolean Dynamite fans will be lining up to see Jon Heder in this perfectly cast comedy role. Heder is famous for odd hairdos and he’s got a great one in this movie. The credits reveal an incredible quantity of special effects contributors and the skating sequences don’t disappoint. Jon and Will Ferrell make an amusing bickering couple on skates so if you simply want a laugh this weekend, we think your money is well spent on this movie.

LINDSAY LOHAN AND ROBBIE WILLIAMS: SOMETHING IN COMMON

Figures that Lindsay Lohan and Robbie Williams would strike up a friendship. They’re both fresh out of rehab, in denial, and out clubbing every night. Lindsay was at her new favorite place Winston’s last night and she was described as “shit-faced.” The eyewitness said she was “having difficulty controlling her body” – in other words she could barely walk. We imagine Lindsay and Robbie have a hard time explaining their nightclubbing in those AA meetings where hanging around in bars is frowned upon, to say the least.

Here’s Kimberly Stewart at a Beverly Hills discount nail salon. She’s too antsy to wait for her pedicure to dry so she’s spraying her toes with that quick-dry stuff. The spray smells so bad they make customers use it in the open doorway. It looks like she got a cute new haircut, could somebody PLEASE give this girl a job.

Dakota Fanning,13, is shopping in Beverly Hills, but not alone – her mom is just out of the picture. She’s very hip in her skinny jeans – chances are she can barely bend her knees in them – just like Madonna’s daughter Lourdes. (What IS Lourdes’s last name, anyway?) We think Dakota looks like a mini Cameron Diaz today.

BRUCE WILLIS AND COURTNEY LOVE? BELIEVE IT!

How many drinks does it take for Bruce Willis to hook up with Courtney Love? It so happens Bruce Willis was in the audience for Amy Winehouse’s performance at The Roxy. He had four or five drinks upstairs before he went down to the Roxy on the first floor to see Amy’s show. He was sitting at VIP table when Courtney Love playfully approached him. They had a few laughs and she sat down at his table. Bruce had more drinks and they next time my source looked Courtney was sitting on Bruce’s lap whispering in his ear! Before long they were openly nuzzling and kissing! Source said “If I hadn’t seen it with my own eyes, I wouldn’t have believed it.” (Bruce usually likes young girls) After the show Bruce’s friends were holding a table for him at the after-party upstairs at On The Rox, but Bruce didn’t show up. He was seen slipping out the side door with Courtney!
