PATRICK DEMPSEY DOUBLED HIS EFFORTS
Grey’s Anatomy doc Patrick Dempsey is working out like a fiend at Easton gym on Beverly Blvd. He’s been seen sweating with his trainer doing cardio and serious weights for two or three hours EVERY afternoon. This is the same no frills old-time gym that Leonardo DiCaprio and Tobey Maguire work out at and nobody pays any attention. Observers say Dr McDreamy has doubled his workouts and we figure that means he’s getting ready for some kind of skin revealing scene on the show. A hot love scene with Meredith, perhaps?
A hot new couple got together last week: Kevin Connolly and Haylie Duff. They were out together at Le Deux on Wednesday , looking like they were getting to know each other. On Saturday night they showed up at the after hours club Xenii holding hands and looking very together. “They were obviously on a date and were side by side, very cozy all night. They left arm in arm” another clubgoer told us. Kevin is a flirt but he really prefers having a steady girlfriend. He’s had no serious romances since Nicky Hilton. Haylie briefly dated lecherous AJ DiScala but fortunately nothing came of THAT. Right now she and Kevin are doing just fine.
This photo reminded us of a friend of ours who was adopted and told us that the hardest thing about being adopted was growing up and not knowing what he would look like. Birth children can just look at their parents and assume there will be similarities. But some adopted kids have no idea whether they’ll be tall or good looking or what. Pierce Brosnan‘s lucky little boys will never have to worry about that. All they have to do is look at their handsome dad.
Do we need another reason to love Gwen Stefani? Here she is standing in line at the airport like the rest of us only looking way more adorable than most of us. What we love about her is the fact that she constantly wears clothing from her own LAMB collection. Most celebrities with fashion lines wouldn’t be caught dead in their own clothes. Gwen flaunts her own designs and she looks so good she makes us want to buy them. We have yet to see Madonna wearing any of her own creations.
Last night was a match made in heaven. Due to her divorce from Paul McCartney, Heather Mills knows she is loathed by Beatle fans and she is desperate to be liked. Dancing with the Stars needed a new angle to draw in viewers who are growing tired of the same old celebrity dancers. What could be better than a one legged woman who stated that she was “afraid her leg might fly off on the dancefloor?” Viewers simply HAD to tune in and see how Heather fared. And the audience couldn’t help but admire Heather’s brave attempt and decent performance. Everybody got what they wanted.
We cannot resist a great set of before and after pictures! In the last three years since she hit it big, singer Amy Winehouse has given herself a massive makeover, according to these photos from UK’s Daily Mail. In the beginning she resembled and Italian Anna Magnani retro gal and it was a cool original look. Apparently she took a lot of flak for being voluptuous, and started going to the gym with a vengeance. Add a few tattoos, piercings and most recently that fabulous beehive, and you’ve got a whole new and equally unique looking singer. We’ll take her either way – and we love the Ronnie Spector eye makeup.
