Can you guess who this incredible actor/Oscar nominee and Harvard grad cum laude is? WE had a hard time figuring it out. It’s Tommy Lee Jones (“No Country For Old Men”) and you don’t have to go to Harvard to know that everyone wants gifts from Barneys. We’re not thrilled with his gray beard – like Brad Pitt’s chin whiskers, it does him no favors.

Here’s one to get you in the mood for Christmas: Al Pacino took his twins Olivia and Anton shopping for a Christmas tree in Beverly Hills. Mom is “Entourage” actress Beverly D’Angelo, but we never seem to see the four of them together. Olivia brought her notepad or maybe her list for Santa, and she and Anton picked out a small green tree – not the white flocked one.

It’s nice to see the Jersey Shore kids out of their element and smack in the middle of Hollywood at Voyeur. Despite complaints about the show from SOME Italian-Americans, the paparazzi – and other clubgoers- greeted them with flashes and open arms. That’s Pauly D (he’s hoping Playgirl will call him for a layout) with The Situation, Snookie, who got punched, and Jenni JWoww. The Situation couldn’t resist flaunting his muscles in a wife-beater even on a chilly night.

Rumors have been circulating that actor/ wrestler Rowdy Roddy Piper’s cancer has returned but we’re told they’re not true. Roddy battled Hodgkin’s Lymphoma back in 2006 but so far he seems to be healthy. Every once in awhile his classic John Carpenter movie “They Live” runs on cable and we strongly recommend it. Roddy’s pretty daughter Ariel (Above with Roddy at a children’s charity event) aims to follow in her dad’s footsteps as an actor, not a wrestler. Despite his rambunctious image, Roddy has been married to his wife Kitty for thirty years and they live in Oregon.

It’s been four years and it looks like Athina Onassis’s marriage to Alvaro Miranda Neto is still going strong. Lucky Athina is the only living direct descendent of Aristotle Onassis and her fortune has been estimated at 600 million to 2 billion dollars. Athina’s problematic mother Christina had four dismal marriages with most of her husbands running off with models. Unhappy Christina was no beauty (plastic surgery at 17) and battled weight problems – she died accidentally from a combination of diet pills and sleeping pills when Athina was a child. Fortunately, Athina, 24, doesn’t seem to have inherited her problems.

Jude Law is already back in London taking his little boy Rudy Christmas shopping. He finished his successful Broadway run of “Hamlet” on December 6, and now he’s gearing up to promote Guy Ritchie’s “Sherlock Holmes,” which opens December 25. Where does that leave Sienna Miller?
This is as close to religion as we like to get during the holidays. Our brilliant colleague, Stephen Saban at The WOW Report, is as much a sucker for dogs as we are. Hence, we have Mary, Joseph, and Pumpkin…..

We only wish we had been at Barneys the same day Cher turned up in this outfit. She can’t make up her mind whether she wants to be noticed or DOESN’T want to be noticed. Sometimes hats and sunglasses aren’t the best disguise. Still, it’s always fun to see her. (She ‘s extending her Las Vegas appearances into 2010.) She loves the shoe department and photographers outside the store can shoot her there through the windows.

Jermaine Jackson and his number one son, the unfortunately named Jermajesty, arrived in London together. (How will the Brits react to that name?) Since Jermaine cancelled his tribute concert for Michael Jackson last summer in Austria and moved it to London, we assume he’s making plans in advance this time. None of the celebrities announced for the show in Austria were actually committed and they ended up calling the whole thing off. Jermajesty must be learning the business.
Awhile back, a friend of ours in the media who has been acquainted with the Jackson family for a long time told us that Michael Jackson’s kids would be better off NOT placed with the family. “That’s the worst thing that could happen to them!” she said. “All they talk about is MONEY- ways to access Michael’s money and schemes to make more money off his name.” It looks like our source was right. The three kids spent Thanksgiving day frolicking in a $25,000 suite at The Palms in Las Vegas rather than a family dinner. We wonder how they’ll spend Christmas.
