Jermaine Jackson, 63, is in London with his brothers Tito, Marlon, and Jackie getting ready to perform there on July 6. In the meantime the newly single singer is having some fun. Jermaine and his wife Halima Rashid divorced last year after she was arrested for domestic violence (she bit him on the leg.) Charges were dropped and Jermaine forgave her, but Halima decided they were better off apart. Jermaine was photographed arriving at his UK hotel with a female companion who did NOT want to be seen.

JERMAINE JACKSON CAN’T STOP TILL HE GETS ENOUGH

Jermaine Jackson, 62, (or is it “Jacksun?”) was apparently overcome with affection when he was confronted with his brother Michael Jackson’s wax figure at Madame Tussauds Wax Museum in Berlin. In real life they weren’t that close – Michael left Jermaine and his other brothers OUT of his will. Faced with financial problems, Jermaine finagled unsuccessfully to get the will changed. His wife Halima Rashid filed for divorce last summer, requesting spousal support. Jermaine appeared in an ‘80s inspired ZDF televised “street party” on New Year’s Eve in Berlin.

Janet Jackson and her boyfriend Wissam Al Mana have been together for two years and they’re not sick of each other yet. So it’s safe to assume there is SOME truth to those rumors that they are quietly planning a wedding. Janet admits she’s head-over-heels for the billionaire Qatari businessman – she’s never known anyone like him before. Wissam is 9 years younger than Janet but he has been well brought up and was educated in America. If they DO marry, we can just imagine the two families getting together at the wedding party. JERMAINE JACKSON SAYS HE CAN’T AFFORD TO SUPPORT HIS KIDS

Deadbeat dad Jermaine Jackson struts around like a very prosperous guy in public, but privately he seems to be quite a cheapskate. He’s $100,000 behind on child support for his tragically named sons Jermagesty and Jaafar, and as a result has lost his driver’s license. He’s appealing to a judge to reduce his monthly payments from $3000 to $215 a month. Jermaine has seven children with three women. (Apparently his Muslim faith has no rules about that.) Odd that Jermaine didn’t appear to be broke on his reality show “The Jacksons: A Family Dynasty.” Critics pointed out that the brothers were “stiff and lacked personality” and there are no plans for further episodes. It’s time for Jermaine to stop bragging about all the specials and tributes and tours he’s “planning,” and get to work.

MICHAEL JACKSON’S KIDS ARE HAPPY GOING TO SCHOOL

Michael Jackson’s kids Paris, Prince, and Blanket took a break from school and spent the weekend at the Palms in Las Vegas where Uncle Jermaine was performing at the Planet Hollywood Hotel. Jermaine’s sons Jaffar and Jermajesty and several bodyguards accompanied them. Paris and Prince are actually going to school for the first time in their lives and reportedly love it. Right now they both have security guards that follow them wherever they go on campus at the $30,000 a year Buckley school in Sherman Oaks. The family lawyer says they are adapting so well at Buckley that the guards may soon become unnecessary.

JANET JACKSON JOINING THE JACKSON 5: THAT’LL BE THE DAY

The most unlikely rumor of the week has to be the story that Janet Jackson is subbing for Michael Jackson and joining her brothers Jermaine, Marlon, Tito, and Jackie, on tour as the Jackson 5. Apparently Jermaine insists that Janet has committed to the tour which will use some of the sets from Michael’s defunct “This Is It” show. Granted, Janet’s last tour on her own was not a success, but this could be a huge step down. Keep in mind also, that Jermaine HAS been known to jump the gun in the past. If it were to happen, we can already picture Jermaine (who declared himself “the next Michael Jackson”) and Janet clashing over everything – starting with billing. And how would they EVER split up the money?

Jermaine Jackson and his number one son, the unfortunately named Jermajesty, arrived in London together. (How will the Brits react to that name?) Since Jermaine cancelled his tribute concert for Michael Jackson last summer in Austria and moved it to London, we assume he’s making plans in advance this time. None of the celebrities announced for the show in Austria were actually committed and they ended up calling the whole thing off. Jermajesty must be learning the business.

He picked up an award for his late brother at the MOBO awards in Glasgow and he’s pictured here KISSING the trophy. We’ve seen winners kiss their trophies before – but never someone ELSE’S award! It’s not like Jermaine EARNED the recognition. We wonder what he’ll do with it.
