Ashlee Simpson gets quite plump and almost unrecognizable when she’s pregnant – just like her sister Jessica. But they both have very pretty babies. Ashlee is determined to maintain her health and she keeps up her grueling gym routine at the Tracy Anderson studio. After all, she is giving birth to Diana Ross’s grandchild! Her husband Evan Ross is always with her and totally supportive.

Ben Affleck is still struggling with his addiction to nicotine. He lights up every chance he gets outside, including when he drops his kids off at school, above. Ben hasn’t even switched to vaping – if that’s any better. Whenever he gets caught on camera smoking, Ben gets mad and hides his contraband. His wife Jennifer has been after him for years to quit for the sake of the children.

Sports Illustrated swimsuit model Molly Sims appeared on the series Las Vegas for five years. She’s married to producer Scott Stuber and gave birth to their second child Scarlett in March. Molly took her mother Dottie and the baby shopping in Beverly Hills for Mother’s Day. It’s remarkable how LITTLE Molly resembles her mother. Unlike Cindy Crawford’s family, those statuesque model genes must have skipped a generation.

We experienced a horrifyingly real movie this weekend and it’s impossible to forget. It takes “reality” to a new level. Heaven Knows What is the story of a young drug addict and her daily struggles and experiences – romantic and otherwise, on the upper west side of New York. The subculture of druggies and homeless people has never been more closely examined. The tragedy of it all is overwhelming. Difficult to watch – but it’s impossible to pull yourself out of their seedy world. The female star Arielle Holmes actually lived this story – the film was based on her book. Nice to see these three guys in their 60’s looking fit and hanging out at Caffe Roma like teenagers. We’re betting Sylvester Stallone and Arnold Schwarzenegger teased their buddy Chuck Zito about his date with Pamela Anderson the other night. Arnold and Sly were arch-rivals back in the day when both were action heroes, but time mellowed them and eventually they became friends after all. Of course you still sense a competitive edge… Arnold has the best taste in shoes.

Surely Cindy Crawford and Randy Gerber have one of the most photogenic families in the world. The foursome, which includes Kaia, 13, and Presley, 15, showed up for the Disneyland premier of George Clooney’s movie “Tomorrowland.” The movie is science fiction and somehow connected to our favorite section of Disney’s theme park Tomorrowland. Experiencing Tomorrowland as a child had a long lasting affect on us. We never forgot the “House of Tomorrow” and dreamed of owning one like that someday – and now we do. Now it’s more like a house of “yesteryear” than the house of the future, but dreams DO come true…

We had to laugh when we saw this photo of Alec Baldwin holding his cute little girl Carmen during a family outing in New York. They both have suspicious looks on their faces as if they sense a paparazzi is long-lensing them secretly – which, of course, happens to be the case. Hopefully Carmen will not have her daddy’s temper.

When we met Chuck Zito he was a Hell’s Angel, and now he’s going out with Pamela Anderson! Eventually he became a bodyguard for celebrities and left New York for Hollywood. He hung around with the right people and landed a role on Oz and later on Sons of Anarchy. He’s been out with Pam before but we weren’t sure if he was guarding her or dating her. Hard to tell. They LOOK like a couple leaving the Rainbow Bar & Grill, – and he’s wearing a suit. Anything is possible with Pam. She DOES look cute here….

Has anyone EVER looked more delighted to receive a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame? Sofia Vergara can’t contain her joy. Her Modern Family costars were there for the ceremony – as well as her own family, including fiancée Joe Manganiello. Mercifully absent was her vindictive former fiancée Nick Loeb who might have ruined the event if he’d shown up waving a test tube.

Ryan Gosling cleans up VERY nicely for scenes in “The Big Short” which is filming at the New Orleans airport.(No sweatpants!) He plays one of those millionaire profiteers from the economic collapse. His relationship with Eva Mendes remains a mystery. Are they even living together with their new baby Esmeralda? When Eva talks about caring for the baby she never says “we” as if Ryan is also involved. Hopefully their romance will continue now that they are parents, but they ARE awfully secretive.
