MILES TELLER: DID GREED COST HIM THE LEAD IN LA LA LAND?

Miles Teller, 29, and his girlfriend Keleigh Sperry are looking quite spiffy on a night out in New York, but he’s not in the mood to talk to the press. It recently leaked out that he was chosen for the lead role in La La Land along with Emma Watson, but they were “too demanding” and he asked for too much money. The award winning roles went to Ryan Gosling and Emma Stone and they couldn’t be happier with their hit movie. Was it Miles or his aggressive CAA agents that lost him the part? He DENIED the salary demand, but The Hollywood Reporter verified that the story was TRUE. Now he just wants to forget about it.

IMAGINE THIS WONDERFUL COUNTRY WITH WOMEN IN CHARGE

It occurred to us that the females of our species are not getting enough credit for pulling off the masterful and world-wide Women’s March. We are not surprised but we are incredibly impressed by the fact that 1-2 million angry women demonstrated in cities across this country (some gatherings were the biggest in the city’s history) and NOT ONE person was arrested! No storefronts were shattered, no limos were set on fire, and there was no looting! You KNOW what happens when MEN demonstrate for just about anything – violence, property destruction, etc – when egos and machismo run amuck! Is there any DOUBT about the innate superiority of women at this point? Just think how SENSIBLE it would be to have women running our country….

TAMRON HALL: LOOKING GOOD IS THE BEST REVENGE

BIG changes are percolating at the Today Show and Tamron Hall is at the center of the storm. Her contract is up for renewal so producers have to address the issue of who will stay and who will leave when Megyn Kelly arrives to host her own hour. Tamron has been cohosting with Al Roker but now there’s talk that she will subbing for Savannah Guthrie until she returns. If she does. No one is really certain about their jobs right now because it seems there are more hosts than needed. With high-priced Megyn joining the network, it makes sense that someone must be eliminated. You’d never guess by looking at her today that Tamron might be feeling insecure.

KHLOE KARDASHIAN’S GOT PROBLEMS – SHE INFLATES LIPS TO CONSOLE HERSELF

Khloe Kardashian’s new E! show, Revenge Body, debuted to low ratings and a not-so-bright future. Her mother Kris pushed E! to give the series a chance because she wanted Khloe to find success after her failed Kocktails With Khloe. Not only that, but Khloe’s boyfriend Tristan Thompson became a father via his ex-girlfriend this month. Right now she’s in Costa Rica filming KUWTK with the family and shortly before she left she must have paid a visit to her cosmetic surgeon to get her lips enlarged. We think she resembles an inflatable sex doll but she must love her new look because she posted this selfie online…

FRENCH MONTANA: EVEN RAPPERS CAN MAKE FASHION MISTAKES

File this under “awkward fashion moments for rappers.” French Montana walked out of Mastro restaurant the other night in this odd fitting all white outfit. Either he ate a monstrous meal or his ill-placed pockets are bulging in an unflattering manner. Moroccan born Montana loves fashion and this white satin jacket has a middle eastern edge, but he chose to dress it “down” with new hiking boots. Altogether not his best look.

CAN YOU IMAGINE HELENA BONHAM CARTER WITH DON JOHNSON?

It’s always fun to see Helena Bonham Carter out shopping in New York with her mother because they are obviously so much alike. Both her parents (her father is deceased) are from prominent UK families. Elena Propper de Callejon is a psychotherapist and Helena has her mom read her scripts and they discuss characters and motives. Certainly a LOT of Helena’s off-beat style runs in the family, although she credits Marie Antoinette and Vivienne Westwood as her fashion influences. Believe it or not, the versatile Helena once played Don Johnson’s love interest in episodes of Miami Vice!

ANGELINA JOLIE DASHES TO THE MARKET IN LEATHER AND LACE

Angelina Jolie turned up at the Malibu Country Mart today and she looks like she’s single. For starters, she’s wearing leather pants and high heel leather boots with what appears to be a lace trimmed velvet top. She covered it up with a coat on a warm day while her twins Vivienne and Knox are wearing lighter apparel. She probably wasn’t particularly thrilled to see her estranged husband Brad Pitt so warmly welcomed at the Golden Globes. Maybe that’s whey she’s now allowing him an occasional visit with the kids.

LILY-ROSE DEPP AT SEVENTEEN: IT WAS A VERY GOOD YEAR

Last time we saw Lily-Rose Depp she was a shy little girl ducking the paparazzi. Suddenly she’s bursting with CONFIDENCE! She’s only 5’3” but she’s actually a working model and ambassador for Chanel fragrances. Her father Johnny Depp introduced her to acting three years ago and in 2016 she finished three movies, so she’s on her way. Too bad she had to drop out of high school to do it. Lily has a boyfriend she’s seen with often, but identifies herself as “on the LGBTQ spectrum.”

PAMELA ANDERSON IS STILL PETA’S GO-TO GIRL

PETA is obviously out to clean up their image after nearly destroying the premier of A Dog’s Purpose by charging animal cruelty. They distributed a video of a dog being forced into turbulent water but the movie’s producers insisted it was edited to mislead and not accurate. Pamela Anderson is always PETA’s most cooperative spokesperson and the publicity hungry animal activists arranged to have her donate books and warm clothing to child refugees in London forced to flee their home countries. Of course the hats and gloves were all “vegan.” But what are these kids going to do with books in a foreign language?

GEORGE CLOONEY MAY ACTUALLY BE EXPECTING TWINS!

It’s starting to look like George Clooney and his wife Amal might actually BE expecting a baby or two! In Touch magazine claims that not only are they expecting, but they are expecting TWINS – a boy and a girl! And the magazine went on to announce they are IVF babies and that George and Amal are building a million dollar nursery! (This kind of “news” is a non-litigious way to sell magazines and usually based on the woman in question having a round tummy in a photograph!) We all know you can’t believe everything you read in a gossip magazine, but a year ago when the magazine announced the couple was pregnant, George promptly denied it. So far we haven’t heard a WORD from him, so it MIGHT be true! George always warned his girlfriends that he didn’t want to get married or have children, but that was long before he met Amal, so perhaps he IS ready to give up his jet-set lifestyle.
