IT’S RAINY DAYS FOR WOODY ALLEN

Woody Allen, 82, is walking in New York with his wife Soon-Yi and he has a lot to ponder. Everyone is perplexed about his film A Rainy Day in New York. Inspired by #MeToo, the film’s stars Timothee Chalamet, Selena Gomez and Elle Fanning donated their salaries to women’s causes. The story is about college kids, but it includes a middle aged man, Jude Law, who has affairs with much younger women, even a 15 year old. Amazon may or may not release the movie. He must feel abandoned. It’s sad, we do love Woody’s movies, but he may have trouble casting his next film – if there is another.

BOBBY CANNAVALE IS PERFECTLY HAPPY BABYSITTING

Rose Byrne, 39, is running around promoting her new film Juliet, Naked while her boyfriend Bobby Cannavale, 48, is on daddy duty. And he’s not complaining – Bobby says he’d rather spend all day with his kids than work, “but I have to make a living.” Rose’s new movie is a comedy/drama about a woman who strikes up a transatlantic romance with a faded rockstar (Ethan Hawke), that her longterm boyfriend (Chris O’Dowd,) happens to be obsessed with.

EVA LONGORIA IS SURPRISED TO FIND HER YEEZY HEELS STEAMING UP

To be honest, we are floored by the notion that Kanye West is now designing women’s shoes – AND that people are BUYING them! Everything Kanye knows about women’s shoes he has undoubtedly learned from his wife and her sisters. Rather limited experience. Sneakers are one thing – how wrong can you go with those? But Kanye is putting his name on high heels and we can’t help but laugh. His collection is dominated by PVC plastic and Eva Longoria wore a pair out last night and she was surprised to find them fogging up from the heat. Her feet don’t look that happy either….

MACAULAY CULKIN: NO LONGER HOME ALONE

Somehow it’s comforting to know that Home alone icon Macaulay Culkin, 37, really seems happier these days. He’s got a new comedy/drama movie coming out – Seth Green’s Changeland. It’s about a guy who learns his wife is cheating on the day before their anniversary. He was planning to surprise her with a prepaid trip to Thailand and instead invited his childhood best friend on the trip. Their experiences and the people they meet change their lives. While filming last summer, Mac fell for his costar, Disney cutie Brenda Song, 30, and they’ve been together ever since.

THE PARTY’S OVER FOR CHARLIE SHEEN’S EX-WIVES

Certainly they endured a LOT when they were married, but Charlie Sheen’s two ex-wives Brooke Mueller and Denise Richards have been living large for years on his child support payments. Brooke comes from a wealthy family so her $55,000 a month went a long way, but Denise had to manage on $25,000 a month. When Charlie’s finances took a dive, Denise voluntarily cut back to $20,000. Charlie’s financial crisis worsened and now he says he owes millions to lawyers, the IRS, and mortgages, and he’s going to court to drastically cut child support payments. Smart Denise took a lucrative job on Real Housewives because she wants to keep her two horses and owes the stable caring for them a lot of money. Time to cut back or get a job!

Anastasiya Kvitko, 32, calls herself a “glamour model” nowadays. She started out in Moscow as a regular fashion model but wasn’t particularly happy with her success. She was a huge fan of Kim Kardashian and started investing all her money into plastic surgery to look more like her idol. Various nips and tucks, lip injections, and body implants made a huge difference in her popularity! So naturally she moved to Los Angeles, and can be seen posing for pin-up shots on various beaches. It IS frightening to think that girls around the world are having surgery to resemble Kim!

AZIZ ANSARI IS RESUMING A NORMAL LIFE

SO glad to see Aziz Ansari back in circulation after questionable sexual misconduct charges derailed his social life. Ansari seems like a basically decent guy- he calls himself a feminist and, in fact, wore a Time’s Up pin to the Golden Globes. Of course, some men claim to be feminists and support women’s groups to ease a guilty conscience, but it doesn’t seem to be the case with Aziz. A woman charged him with crossing boundaries on a date, but it was a far cry from abusing power in the workplace and more like just a bad date. The upside of this situation is that Aziz and many other men might re-evaluate their date behavior. Happily, Aziz has emerged from the storm more knowledgable and cautious (that’s a good thing) and now he’s keeping company with an attractive woman.
