DITA VON TEESE IS JEAN PAUL GAULTIER’S DREAM GIRL

If ever there was a match made in heaven, it’s burlesque queen (and lingerie designer) Dita Von Teese and designer Jean Paul Gaultier. Remember Gaultier’s sexy, S&M inspired wardrobe for The Fifth Element? Jean Paul invited Dita (who’s only 5’5”) to model in his couture runway show in Paris, and he named the gown she wore after HER. PAUL MCCARTNEY FINALLY “WORKED OUT” HIS HAIR COLOR

First it was John Travolta abandoning his longtime habit of wearing hairpieces – in varying degrees of quality. John is now proudly sporting his shaved head and fans seem to love it. This week Paul McCartney popped up with his natural grey hair blowing in the wind. Paul dyed his hair brown for many years and he often did it at home with the help of his daughter, to save a trip to the salon. Results were often artificial looking, so we were happy to see Paul sporting his natural grey hair.

VICTORIA BECKHAM: NOT A GOOD SPORT?

Reebok had a party in New York celebrating their Reebok x Victoria Beckham collaboration of sneakers and athletic apparel for women. Victoria arrived looking like THIS. WHY did she wear her usual platform stilettos and party clothes instead of her own Reebok sneakers and tights? Paparazzi mobbed her coming and going, and photos of her in her workout designs would be everywhere. (You would be looking at them now) A surprisingly obvious missed opportunity. Oh, and it would have been nice to have Sporty Spice involved…

Looks like Celine Dion, 50, has taken a tip from Mariah Carey and found herself a cute back-up dancer! Celine’s husband Rene died in 2016, and she met Pepe Munoz, 35, when she was appearing in Las Vegas. In 2017, Celine hired Pepe for her tour, and they’ve been inseparable ever since. DEMI LOVATO: DO YOU KNOW WHERE YOUR BOYFRIEND IS?

While perusing photos from the Fashion Week Celine Menswear show in Paris, we happened to notice that Courtney Love attended the show with Henry Levy, Demi Lovato’s boyfriend. How did this happen? Henry IS a designer, after all, but why didn’t he bring Demi to Paris? Demi and Henry share a history of substance abuse and rehab – in fact that’s how they met. Courtney has more than a passing familiarity with rehab herself. So what’s the deal?

CHRIS PINE: MORE THAN JUST A PRETTY FACE

One glance at this photo of Chris Pine looking quite snazzy and relatively clean-shaven, and we assumed he’s been working on a project that takes place in the 1950’s. We were RIGHT- he’s promoting his TNT drama I Am the Night, directed by Wonder Woman’s Patty Jenkins. It’s inspired by a true story about an adopted teen living in Reno who makes an astonishing discovery about her past that causes her to go to LA to find her real family, thus opening a huge can of worms. Chris Pine plays a reporter obsessed with her story – unlike many actors, Chris has no ego problems with playing second fiddle to a female lead.

BRAD PITT AND CHARLIZE THERON HAVE PLENTY TO TALK ABOUT

Since Radar Online reported that Brad Pitt is “dating” Charlize Theron, we’ve been thinking about how plausible the rumor is. Brad has been trying hard to keep a low profile when it comes to seeing women. His brief encounter with that attractive MIT professor turned out to be a totally false alarm, and we assumed that when he DOES date, it’s not likely to be someone in show business. After all, his divorce is finally winding down and he’s making friends with his kids again. We’re not sure about romance, but Brad and Charlize DO have something in common to talk about – they both have gender-fluid kids.

CHER DOESN’T NEED TO TURN BACK TIME

The movie Mamma Mia: Here We Go Again came out at exactly the right time for Cher. Her Dancing Queen album followed, and this Spring, her concert tour, appropriately titled “Here We Go Again,” was a big hit in Australia and New Zealand with multiple performances added. She just started the North American leg of the tour in Florida and her opening act is the disco group Chic (Le Freak) with memories of Studio 54. When we saw Cher during her last tour, The Village People opened for her. By all accounts, Cher’s costume changes are numerous and outrageous – Las Vegas glitz all the way…

HERE COMES PHARRELL WILLIAMS WITH THAT FACE-MASK AGAIN!

The first time we saw fashionable Pharrell Williams, 45, wearing a surgical mask in the airport, he said it was because he had just become the father of triplets and didn’t want to bring home any germs. Apparently it worked, because Pharrell STILL wears a mask when he flies, and also to crowded places like Disneyland. Not only is he germ-free, but fewer people recognize and approach him – in fact, sometimes strangers AVOID him, fearing that HE has the flu or a communicable disease! Above, Pharrell and his wife Helen Lasichanch are at the airport again – we predict that the Japanese influenced Pharrell will eventually come out with a designer face-mask collection.
