CHRISTINA HENDRICKS KNOWS WHAT SHE WANTS

And what Christina Hendricks wants – is to get ON with her life! She’s in New York promoting the third season of her NBC comedy/drama series Good Girls, looking cool and confident. The Mad Men star and her husband of ten years, Geoffrey Arend, announced their civilized split last October, and the very next day Christina was seen giving orders to movers at her house. She didn’t want to waste a minute. Christina also took advantage of awards season and attended parties, especially the Vanity Fair Oscar party, dressed to kill. She’s in a good place right now. MILEY CYRUS DID SOMETHING RIGHT

Miley Cyrus is in New York for Fashion Week and she has never looked better. Even her mullet haircut looks more appealing. We were happy to hear that she turned DOWN an offer from Juul to sell their vaping products in an ad campaign aimed at young people. (Miley DOES have the voice to promote smokes) Several states, including New York and California, are suing the company for causing the youth vaping epidemic by advertising on teen and kid websites, including the cartoon network! Miley also surprised the audience when she walked as a model in the Marc Jacobs show.

SHAME ON YOU PAM, FOR MARRYING THIS HARVEY WEINSTEIN WANNABE!

Cannot IMAGINE what got into Pam Anderson that she even entertained the NOTION of marrying the disreputable Jon Peters, who is commonly known in Hollywood as another Harvey Weinstein. (She didn’t google him?) Peters started as a hairdresser and used women like Barbra Streisand to climb the ladder of success and become a Hollywood “producer.” He’s notorious as a sexual harasser and predator who’s been sued numerous times by employees – he once exposed himself to his personal assistant AND her two year old daughter! She won her case and collected 3 million. Peters is also renowned for the nasty rages, threats, and vulgarity that he got away with for years. Pam needs to have her head examined…

IT’S ABOUT TIME: CHICAGO INTENDS TO PROVE JUSSIE SMOLLETT LIED

Frankly, we never got over the fact that charges against Jussie Smollett were DROPPED after he orchestrated that fake hate crime in Chicago. His claims of a racist and homophobic attack by two white guys (one wearing a MAGA hat, no less) were honestly too absurd to believe. And when the two guys were found and claimed to be hired by the Empire actor to fake the crime against him, we were happy that our hometown Chicago is NOT that evil. Tons of evidence popped up to prove Jussie lied. When he was mysteriously set free, we chalked it up to corrupt politicians. What a nice surprise – angry Chicagoans are finally vindicated with these new charges against Jussie – we can’t wait to hear the whole story in court.

RIHANNA: IT’S NOT EASY GETTING BACK INTO CIRCULATION!

After three years of undercover togetherness, Rihanna, 31, and her Saudi billionaire boyfriend Hassan Jameel, have called it quits. (She and Janet Jackson have a lot to discuss) That means Rihanna is now ON THE PROWL. It’s a lot easier running all her businesses – fashion, makeup, etc, plus recording, while having a boyfriend to come home to. What takes time is hunting for a new man! Now Rihanna has to rearrange her schedule to include time for nightclubbing and parties. CHARLIZE THERON : BEST DRESSED AT VANITY FAIR PARTY

WOW- we almost missed this amazing outfit! We’ve seen plenty of fringed dresses in our years of fashion observation, but Charlize Theron’s gold fringe Dior is the all-time best! And walking only makes it look better. Charlize, who happens to be the face of Dior, wore another dress on stage at the Oscars, and for some reason saved this metallic beauty for the Vanity Fair after-party.

BILLY PORTER WOULDN’T LEAVE TOWN WITHOUT IT

Billy Porter put on quite a show at the Oscars – his extravagant attire was the talk of the red carpet, and he performed in the opening musical number with Janelle Monae. After the show, he changed into yet another outrageous outfit and went on to party all night. The next day he had a London flight to catch, but he made time to stop at the West Hollywood Med Men marijuana dispensary to pick up a bagful of goodies for the road!

HEIDI KLUM: WORST DRESSED OSCAR NIGHT

Really? Is there a dress that can make gorgeous Heidi Klum look awful – and common? Believe it or not, Heidi found a gown that makes even HER look bad. Maybe she wore this unflattering frock as a favor to a friend in design school. The proportions are amateurish, the fabric looks cheap and baggy- and the real crime is that this actually makes Heidi look around 40 pounds heavier than she is! Take it home and burn it!

SNOOP DOGG TARNISHED HIS REPUTATION

Sorry, but we can never look at Snoop Dogg quite the same after his horrific and gangster-like condemnation of journalist Gayle King for merely mentioning Kobe Bryant’s rape accusation. Yes, Kobe turned his life around and became a great guy after that transgression, but the truth is, he got away with rape and Snoop thinks that’s okay. There’s no doubt about Kobe’s guilt – the teen victim had purple marks on her neck from being choked. She was INTIMIDATED into not appearing in court (by people like Snoop?) so charges were dropped, but she did get money in a civil suit later. That’s how women were treated in those days, Snoop, but things have changed, and it’s time for you to evolve!

TO GUY RITCHIE, IT’S STILL A MAN’S WORLD

It’s been awhile since we’ve seen an all-male movie made BY men FOR men, but Guy Ritchie is still promoting machismo. Of course, we were initially intrigued by The Gentlemen because of the attractive male cast and Ritchie’s amusing fast way of cutting his scenes- no wasted time. Too bad the men all had scraggly facial hair and Hugh Grant even managed to look like a worn-out Al Pacino. The plot is all about incredibly egotistical and greedy men attempting to outsmart each other. It’s funny, but reeks of testosterone. The actors have such thick cockney accents that it’s difficult to understand anything except the startling abundance of profanity. (More than we’ve ever heard in any film) Stomach churning violence abounds and when Michelle Dockery’s little used character appears, she acts just like a man. So maybe this film is your cup of tea, or maybe not…
