Hot on the heels of his quickie Las Vegas divorce, Nicolas Cage popped up with a new younger girlfriend. Nic’s last (4th) marriage happened during a boozy Vegas weekend and imploded four days later – Nic claimed he was “too drunk” to marry. His new girlfriend is Riko Shibata who looks barely legal, but is, in fact, 26 years old. She’s obviously concerned about Nic, 56, catching coronavirus, so she cleaned his hands with sanitizer after they left a New York restaurant – and before they held hands…

And we were just thinking of Nic the other day, in response to the media pix of him paying a visit to his very imposing CRYPT–in one of New Orleans’ legendary above-ground cemetaries.
We can’t think of a personality better suited to N.O. than avant-garde Cage.
He would have been the perfect Lestat (and we wonder whether he blew his chance at the role by appearing in another vampire film–in which he infamously ate a live c*ckroach, and for which he had all his back teeth pulled–so as to appear more gaunt).
