PRINCE HARRY AND MEGHAN HAVE THE LAST LAUGH

Montecito, CA - Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have decided where they want to live and purchased an 18,000 square foot mansion, that rests on 5.4 acres, in Montecito , California, about 90 miles from Los Angeles. Some of their new neighbors include Oprah Winfrey, Elle DeGeneres, Rob Lowe and George Lucas. Harry and Meghan apparently got a great deal, since the property had previously sold for $ 29 Million, but they were able to purchase it for $ 14,650,000. The mansion is a palatial residence with 9 bedrooms and 16 bathrooms. It has a huge swimming pool, a cinema, a complete gym, a spa, a library, an office, a huge wine cellar, state of the art kitchen, entertainment and game room, a tennis court, a five car garage, and a large playground where Prince Archie will be able to enjoy hours of fun.The property is on a private paparazzi proof road, where they can enjoy privacy. They also can enjoy amazing panoramic views of the ocean and mountains. The formerly royal couple Harry and Meghan have finally purchased a piece of California and it’s a winner. Their new 18,000 sq ft estate in Montecito has five and a half glorious acres and SIXTEEN bathrooms! The property was once priced at 26 million, but Harry and Meghan scooped it up for $14,650,000. All the usual frills are included – home theater, tennis court, formal gardens, guest quarters, fully equipped gym, five car garage, and the basement has a playroom with a vintage Wurlitzer jukebox and pinball machines. Little Archie will be thrilled with the large fantasy playground for kids (bottom left in photo.) Top all this off with the delicious California weather, and it appears the runaway royals made the right move.

KAMALA HARRIS BREAKS THE GLASS CEILING!

We could not resist posting this adorable photo of California girl Kamala Harris when she was eighteen and graduating from Westmount High School in Quebec. (Her mother got a research job in Canada for a few years.) As an independent voter, we are excited and hopeful that we will have a female vice president and perhaps eventually a female president. This woman is super-qualified and we LOVED the way she raked the questionable Brett Kavanaugh over the coals during his Supreme Court confirmation hearings. What this country really need is more women in office.

Sex & the City fashionista Sarah Jessica Parker is in the habit of keeping a close eye on all her SJP shoes stores in Manhattan by visiting them regularly. Her twin daughters Marion and Tabitha are now 11- the age where fashion starts to become important. MAYA RUDOLPH IS POLISHING UP HER KAMALA HARRIS IMITATION

We can think of one person who is SUPER excited to hear that Joe Biden has picked California Senator Kamala Harris for his VP. Maya Rudolph just got an Emmy nomination for her portrayal of Kamala Harris in several Saturday Night Live skits. Maya says her imitations of Harris have always been playful and fun – not mean spirited. Of course, now she can look forward to many more appearances on SNL next season – and who knows where else.

SIMON COWELL WAS SHOWING OFF FOR THE KIDS

It’s a conundrum. Simon Cowell is very fussy about his health and pops multiple vitamin supplements every day. He cut back on his 80 cigarettes a day habit, and lost a considerable amount of weight recently. So why did this careful guy end up with a broken back? He just had his new electric bike delivered that goes 60 miles per hour- and he couldn’t WAIT to try it out. He was “showing off for the kids” when he did a wheelie and was thrown to the concrete. No helmet and no protective clothing like bikers wear. It’s ironic. Simon started bike riding to stay healthy in quarantine, and ended up worse off than if he caught the virus!

Looks like Sylvester Stallone has added more than a few pounds to his once chiseled abs during quarantine (unlike Arnold Schwarzenegger who is furiously biking every day.) And that cigar indicates that he’s not overly worried about his health in general. In contrast, his model wife Jennifer Flavin is looking slimmer than ever! Sly and Jennifer spent the day on the beach in Malibu – here they are seen watching their oldest daughter Sistine, 22, frolic in the water. Come to think of it – Sly is SURROUNDED by model-thin women (his wife and three cute daughters) – you’d think they would be a good influence…

KELLY OSBOURNE LOVES OLD HOLLYWOOD

A friend was browsing on Kelly Osbourne’s instagram page, looking for info on her “85 pound weight loss” because it seemed so extreme. Surprise! This friend came across a photo that Kelly posted on Instagram a few years ago when she did a magazine photoshoot at my house. I have Lana Turner’s shorts and halter from her movie “The Postman Always Rings Twice” framed and hanging on my hallway wall. The outfit came from MGM’s huge wardrobe sale years ago. Kelly wrote: “This is the coolest thing I have ever seen in someone’s house!” How nice that Kelly appreciated this piece of Hollywood memorabilia! (I treasure it!)

Scott Baio passionately told supporters at the Beverly Hills rally for Donald Trump that he loves his country and thinks the president will win the election because he feels “the silent majority is fed up.” He went on to say that “if we DON’T re-elect Donald Trump, everything we hold dear as Americans will be gone: God, Christmas, freedom, the flag, the national anthem- gone before you can blink! On election day the choice is not between Trump and Biden- it’s between American freedom/capitalism and Marxism!” (If only it were that simple…)

LORENZO LAMAS AND SCOTT BAIO SUPPORT THE PRESIDENT

Lorenzo Lamas made a surprise appearance in Beverly Hills this afternoon. Three or four hundred protesters marched from West Hollywood to Beverly Hills today in an event organized by #Walk Away Foundation. The rally was planned to support president Trump and law enforcement. Lorenzo and Scott Baio were among the speakers at the event. Not enough masks to suit us, but fortunately, no looting.
