IT’S A SWEET LIFE FOR PARIS HILTON’S PAMPERED PETS

Paris Hilton turned up in Hollywood with yet another new puppy this week. She’s notorious for having an extensive assortment of small dogs. Fortunately, she doesn’t forget about the others each time a new one appears. They are equally spoiled rotten. The whole pack is living happily together in a 300 sq ft two story Spanish villa style doggie mansion built on her property. The doghouse has a gated yard with a patio, air-conditioning and heat, and designer dog beds inside. Paris says it cost $350,000. Of course, much of the time, Paris invites the whole pack into HER home to play.

HALLE BERRY IS CONFIDENT IN THE COURTROOM

Halle Berry has a history of unpleasant custody battles – there were some nasty accusations when she split with model Gabriel Aubry, the father of her now 12 year old daughter Nahla. When she was married to her son Maceo’s dad, French actor Olivier Martinez, they all planned to move to France, but Aubry put a stop to it. He wanted access to his daughter. Halle and Olivier lasted 2 years, and divorced in 2015. They shared custody of Maceo, but Olivier was forced to stay in LA to be close to his son. Most of his work is in France, but Olivier seemed to choose his son over his career. Halle and Olivier have a new court date to make custody decisions about Maceo – we bet Olivier is hoping to take Maceo, now 6, to France for a visit -will Halle allow this – especially in a pandemic? Halle seems confident about the outcome – she’s representing herself in court – no lawyer.

CHRISTINA AGUILERA: DON’T FORGET ABOUT ME!

It’s been awhile since we heard a peep about Christina Aguilera – it’s possible that our party girl, 39, has reformed. Nobody predicted that her romance with Matthew Rutler, 35, (he was a PA on the set of her 2014 film Burlesque) would LAST, but it HAS. To everyone’s surprise, she swept the startled Matthew off his feet during the movie, and they’ve been together ever since. They have a six year old daughter, Summer Rain, and Christina has a 12 year old son Max (with her ex Jordan Bratman.) Matthew, said to be a super nice guy, seems to be a househusband and the whole family recently went CAMPING. (Can you imagine Christina camping?) Apparently Christina recently realized she hasn’t been photographed lately stumbling out of a nightclub, so she posted this sexy photo to remind us that she’s still very much around…

We don’t hear this very often- Chris Pine ADMITS he hates modern technology. Even the internet. He totally avoids social media and finds most of it time wasting or toxic. Do you remember when he gave up his Smartphone and started using a flip phone because he felt he wanted to simplify his life when he was not working? KOREAN BOY BAND BTS JUST BROKE ALL YOUTUBE RECORDS

As if the Korean boy band BTS weren’t popular enough, they just released the music video for their FIRST all English single called Dynamite and set a NEW RECORD, cultivating 102 million views in the first day, according to YouTube. That makes Dynamite the first YouTube song EVER to get over 200 million views within the first 24 hours. It also became the fastest song ever to reach number one in 100 countries! These lucky boys are now working on their new album and we bet they are all taking crash courses in English.

ROD STEWART HAS A CLEVER IDEA FOR SOCIAL DISTANCING

So what if Rod Stewart is three decades older than his wife Penny Lancaster? He more than manages to keep up with her on their trek through Europe. Rod is a true sun worshipper as one can clearly see by his his permanent tan, but the heat and humidity in Venice, Italy, made him glad he brought along a sun umbrella. After shopping and having lunch outside, the couple took a cooling gondola ride, with their masks on. Here’s a thought: is an umbrella a substitute for a mask? MAYBE YOU CAN GET WHAT YOU WANT!

If you’re a die-hard Rolling Stones fan or a tourist, you might find exactly you want at the new Rolling Stones store opening September 9 – on “swinging” Carnaby Street, of course. They’re optimistically calling it a “flagship store” -which means they are planning a chain of such stores – but isn’t ONE really enough? The shop has the subtle name: R.S. No.9 -(it’s located at 9 Carnaby St.) and it will feature the band’s huge music catalog and latest releases, t-shirts and clothing for men, women, and children. Of course, since it IS in London, raincoats and umbrellas (like the one above) will be available. And hopefully lots of band memorabilia. Of course, the sales clerks working there will have to listen to Rolling Stones music all day every day…

Apparently the seemingly endless social isolation we are suffering due to the pandemic is really GETTING TO Katie Holmes! Has she GIVEN UP on putting on a cute outfit and going out?
