JOHNNY DEPP’S LAWYERS ARE THE HAPPY ONES

Things are looking worse and worse for litigious Johnny Depp. He’s set to go to court next month for his defamation lawsuit against his ex Amber Heard because she wrote an article for The Washington Post supporting women who come forward and talk about violence and abuse like she did, and how they can suffer from blacklisting and lost jobs for doing so, because men protect each other. Johnny Depp’s name was NEVER mentioned in the article but he took offense and, against advice, sued. Of course Amber countersued (she DOES have the right to free speech) and a female judge just made it easier for Amber to succeed. Johnny’s lawsuits are dimming his popularity even more than Amber’s abuse charges.

PRINCE JACKSON IS IN LOVE

Who knew? Prince Jackson, the oldest son of Michael Jackson and brother of Paris Jackson, not only has a cute girlfriend – Molly Schirmang -but they are celebrating five years together. Most likely they met in college. We believe that Prince is the biological son of plastic surgeon Dr Arnold Klein and his nurse Debbie Rowe, although the subject seems to be verboten. Not only does Prince look more like his actual father every day, but he has inherited Arnie Klein’s brains and charming personality. Prince seems to be a sweetheart- he and his girlfriend love to travel together (sometimes by motorcycle) and he’s always working to raise money for his own charity called Heal Los Angeles that provides education for needy kids.

PAMELA ANDERSON’S “MANAGER” LOOKS FAMILIAR

At first glance this photo looks like Pamela Anderson arriving at Good Morning America with her serious-faced manager. She’s currently promoting her new role as Roxie Hart in the Broadway musical Chicago. But that’s NOT just her manager – it’s actually her 25 year old son Brandon Thomas Lee, (Tommy Lee is his dad) who looks like he might be ACTING as her manager. Brandon calls himself an actor/producer and he’s had a few movie roles, plus he played himself on The Hills. He loves golf so much that last year he designed a line of “retro preppy golf wear” under the brand name Swinger’s Club. Not sure how the line is doing, but he did use a golf club as his weapon of choice to chase an intruder out of his house not long ago. Anyway, he doesn’t seem to be following in his father’s rock star footsteps…

KID ROCK COULD BE FOOLING US

Kid Rock is gearing up for his Bad Reputation tour starting on April 6 in Indiana and we had to laugh at reporter Roger Friedman’s comments. Friedman claims Kid Rock (real name Robert Ritchie) is a total phony and his new album Bad Reputation is designed to attract beer swilling rednecks, but the singer is not really one himself. He says Kid Rock is no hick – he grew up in a mansion and lives in one now and is all vaxxed and masked. Despite his upbringing, he aligns himself with the gun-toting right wing Ted Nugent, and enjoys fooling his fans. WHY IS JARED LETO ALWAYS ALONE ON THE RED CARPET?

Jared Leto has no shortage of female admirers, but whenever he makes a public appearance (dressed to the nines) he’s always without a plus one. He’s habitually had a lot of off-again on-again girlfriends and that came in handy when he was touring with his band 30 Seconds to Mars. BUT since 2015, he’s been on and off (mostly ON) with gorgeous Victoria’s Secret Russian model Valery Kaufman, but he keeps her WAAAY undercover. Is he afraid she will steal his thunder? They have been seen together doing ordinary things like shopping in a supermarket and hiking, but never at a public event. THERE’S STILL HOPE FOR LIZZO

We’ve spent considerable time picking on Lizzo for the awful, revealing outfits she chooses to wear- so we were taken aback to see her in a cute, perfectly normal outfit at something called the Hollywood Beauty Awards this weekend. Usually Lizzo says she is encouraging “big girls” to have the courage to wear skimpy clothing. Like a thong to a Lakers game? Or a transparent dress to Cardi B’s birthday party? Or a tiny crochet bra and torn jeans to Craig’s restaurant? If a non-celebrity dressed like Lizzo, she would be asked to LEAVE most places…Chubby or slender, bad taste is just bad taste. So we were pleasantly surprised to see Lizzo looking like THIS!

PRINCESS STEPHANIE : NOT AS WILD AS SHE USED TO BE

Just ran into this photo of Grace Kelly’s daughter Princess Stephanie of Monaco at a car racing event there and we were startled because she looks NOTHING like the naughty girl she was back in the 80’s when she horrified her father Prince Rainier by moving to Hollywood. She started with a highly publicized fling with Rob Lowe that only lasted a few weeks until she moved on with club promoter Mario Oliver, who ran the hot downtown club Vertigo. She had a hit record in Europe before she went through her bodyguard phase (married one, had a child with another). My favorite phase was the circus phase- she had a romance with an elephant trainer and moved into his trailer with her kids for a different life. After that she married an acrobat in the same circus but it only lasted 10 months before she returned to the palace. So far none of her 3 kids has turned out to be as wild as she was.

JENNIFER AND BEN BOUGHT A HOUSE TOGETHER

Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez just made an enormous investment in their future- they purchased a $50 million dollar mansion in Bel-Air with 17 bathrooms together! The sprawling 10 bedroom (almost 20,000 sq ft) house will be just the right size to blend the two families. Jennifer has two children from her previous marriage, and we imagine her mother and sister will be frequent visitors. Ben’s three children will certainly have rooms of their own, along with various grandparents. (It has already been established that the kids get along nicely) The house features a magnificent “hers” closet with makeup table, but there’s no sense showing a photo because Ben and Jennifer will no doubt remodel the entire place.

BELLA HADID KNOWS HOW NOT TO BE NOTICED

Here’s a VERY ORDINARY looking New York couple enjoying Central Park on an almost Spring day. Nobody paid them any attention, and that’s the way they like it. Supermodel Bella Hadid and her undercover boyfriend, art director Marc Kalman, have been together for two years pretty much in plain sight, but without fanfare. When she dated The Weeknd they rarely had a fleeting moment to themselves. But Bella has learned how to minimize her beauty (even without a mask) and not draw attention to herself and her 8 years older boyfriend so they can get around unmolested. They met while working on a fashion project and have been seen together in Paris and New York – friends think she’s quite fond of him.

CAN YOU GUESS WHO THIS IS?

Just LOVE this photo of Sean Penn and Julia Roberts in their new Starz Watergate series Gaslit. Seems like an odd choice, but Julia plays Martha Mitchell, the wife of Nixon advisor John Mitchell, played by Penn. They were a happy couple until talkative Arkansas socialite Martha blew the lid off the Watergate scandal that ultimately destroyed the presidency and her marriage.
