GYPSY ROSE BLANCHARD: YOUR HUSBAND AND YOUR MOM LOOK ALIKE!

Are we CRAZY or does Gypsy Rose Blanchard’s HUSBAND bear a striking and not-so-coincidental resemblance to her MOTHER? These two photos have been circulating in the news and when we saw them side by side we were shocked. While Gypsy was in prison for murdering her sick (Munchausen by proxy) mother Dee Dee, her future husband, Ryan Anderson, wrote her a supportive letter and they started a romance. In 2022 they were married at the prison. Was Gypsy attracted to Ryan because he looked eerily familiar?

WILL DANIEL DAY-LEWIS COME OUT OF RETIREMENT?

A clever paparazzi caught Daniel Day-Lewis walking out of Steven Spielberg’s NY office with Steven and a group of movie bigwigs including Irish playwright/filmmaker Jim (My Left Foot) Sheridan.Everyone looked happy. Coincidentally or NOT, Sheridan has been working on a film called The True Story of Chief Standing Bear. The story is set in Nebraska in 1879 and it’s about the first Native American granted civil rights in the US. One can’t HELP but wonder if Daniel is considering coming OUT of his 2017 retirement for this film. In The Last of the Mohicans (1993), Lewis played a half-white half-native American character successfully. Would he DARE to play a much admired Native American Chief, considering modern racial sensitivities? We shall see…

LIFETIME COMPANIONS: BEN AFFLECK AND DUNKIN DONUTS

We have to give credit to the Dunkin Donuts company for hiring their most loyal – and probably most famous – fan, Ben Affleck, to appear in ads . They are even cleverly recreating familiar paparazzi shots through the years of Ben enjoying their coffee and donuts. After he and his wife Jennifer Garner split, Ben was photographed bringing different female companions to Dunkin Donuts, much to his dismay. We remember when he was dating Ana de Armas, she often stayed at his west side home and just about every morning a paparazzi would catch Ben fetching Dunkan Donuts treats delivered to his doorstep. Nowadays Jennifer Lopez is his Dunkin Donuts companion – his favorite drink is still “iced coffee with milk and 2 sugars- sometimes Splenda”

TAYLOR SWIFT TO THE RESCUE

Taylor Swift wants to have her cake and eat it too. Taylor’s favorite indulgence is the triple berry cake from LA’s glorious bakery Sweet Lady Jane, but after 35 years in business, the popular bakery unexpectedly SHUT DOWN on December 31! (The founder Jane Lockhart sold the business a few years back and the new owners over-expanded and ran it into the ground.). Taylor and her posse, including Gigi Hadid, have fond memories of the delicious yet surprising light cake (we’ve enjoyed it NUMEROUS times as well.) In fact, the special cake is adored by many people in LA who were upset to hear about the closing. According to a source, Taylor is thinking about resurrecting the beloved bakery and is hoping to put together a plan to bring back her favorite dessert.

KATHARINE McPHEE A BEVERLY HILLS HOUSEWIFE? NO WAY!

Katherine McPhee recently turned down a 7 figure deal to join The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.  Although the Bravo show’s newest season began airing October 25 ( all of the episodes are filmed in advance) producer Andy Cohen is looking ahead to season 14 and wants to spice things up with some bigger name Housewives. Our Bravo source tells us that Katherine was offered six figures per episode to join the show ( and with over 10 episodes a season that’s over a million dollars for a few months worth of work!)  Katherine was mulling over the idea, but her husband , music producer David Foster, immediately nixed it.  He saw his marriage to then Housewife Yolanda Hadid disintegrate and he blames her involvement on the reality show as one of the reasons.  Since Katherine is a no go, Andy is looking for other stars to join as he plans to shake up the cast after this season.

NORBY WALTERS: THANKS FOR THE MEMORIES!

We just heard that Norby Walters died at 91- he was a successful music agent from New York who threw those fabulous Night of 100 Stars Oscar parties at the Beverly Hills Hotel every year. As the Star Magazine gossip columnist, this was a party I never missed. Celebrities – many of them classic old time movie stars – all turned up – and they were friendly, talkative, and VERY accessible. We recall Mamie Van Doran looking ultra-glamorous, but the biggest thrill for me was meeting George Chakiris from West Side Story. Remember – he played the hot Puerto Rican gang member in the purple shirt (and he could DANCE!) George was sweet and I told him his movie character had changed my life. As a Chicago teen I had never even MET a Puerto Rican, so I vowed to go to New York someday and look for a boyfriend like George’s character Bernardo. (Yes, I did, but my bf looked more like Jimi Hendrix, which was fine.) George laughed at my story and he was a pleasure to meet. Thanks to Norby Walters, a dream of mine came true!

MACHINE GUN KELLY, DAUGHTER, AND GIRLFRIEND, ALL HAVE SOMETHING IN COMMON

Machine Gun Kelly, his 14 year old daughter Casey, (from an earlier relationship) and his girlfriend Megan Fox were seen shopping in Aspen, of all places, on New Year’s Eve. This threesome is a study in EXTREMES. MGK is wearing VERY large leather pants that cover his HIGH platform shoes. Casie is rocking extensions almost down to her KNEES, and Megan is flaunting 3 inch long NAILS…

GYPSY ROSE BLANCHARD CAN’T WAIT TO TELL ALL

We’ve never seen anyone happier to be out of prison! Now that she’s free, the notorious Gypsy Rose Blanchard is hoping to embark on a nationwide speaking tour – once she gets permission from her parole officer. Gypsy was just released after serving 8.5 years of her ten-year sentence for her involvement in the murder of her mother, Dee Dee. The fascinating Munchausen by proxy story captivated the nation, with tales of Dee Dee forcing Gypsy to undergo countless medical procedures to gain sympathy and money from the unsuspecting public. Gypsy has many followers, and she already arranged a speaking tour where she will reveal never before heard stories and answer audience questions.

MORE MONEY THAN COMMON SENSE?

BEFORE

DURING

AFTER

Twenty years ago, Brazilian Rodrigo Alves, who apparently has money to burn, decided to spruce up his looks with plastic surgery in hopes of looking like a “human Ken doll.” After spending half a million dollars on dozens of surgeries, and over 10 years under the knife, he admitted he REALLY wanted to resemble a Barbie Doll! It cost him another half million dollars to switch sexes and become Jessica Alves. He’s 40 now and we think he looks WAY beyond Barbie. He says he’s through with plastic surgery and will only spend money to “slow the ageing process.” Alves is now “looking for love” and laments that he is “sapiosexual” – that means sexually attracted to very intelligent people. But will intelligent people be attracted to Alves?
