McDonalds, in various Asian countries, including the Philippines, serves these McRice Burgers that titillate the imagination. Instead of buns they are served on rice cakes – but not the dry rice cakes we use for dieting. It’s moist rice pressed together and covered with sesame seeds. Those who have tasted these burgers rave that they are delicious and should be sold in the US. A touch of internationalism would make McDonald’s menu more appealing.
Of course, I’d like to try them. They don’t look appetizing but God knows I’ve eaten uglier food. Besides, I love any kind of rice.
You’re on your own Walt. Those look gross!
Denise, I don’t think I would want it on a “burger” but I wouldn’t mind trying the rice buns with the grilled chicken & a little teriyaki sauce. : )
I’d give it a go.
Try the McDonalds in Verona. DIVINE. An elegant salad bar, wine, a beautiful sunny patio. Please, give us the rice burger, please.
the best thing McDonalds invented after the milshakes.
mark these words:
THIS WILL BE KIDS & WOMAN FAVOURITE’S!!!!
Nobody should consume McDonalds rubbish food. What does this have to do with Hollywood gossip BTW?
One of my favourite soapbox subjects.
Janet and the readers better google, “pink sludge ammonia mcdonalds.”
Walt do not allow your grandchildren to eat this. You would not feed this to your guests. Burgers and nuggets at most fast food joints and most pre packaged ground beef in Canada and the U.S. have Pink Sludge.
Lots of it.
Philipino’s, “Oompa Loompa’s.” Don’t let the women near your men ladies. They steal shamelessly.
Patrick, I’ve seen that article about the “chicken” before. It is disgusting. My little grandkids don’t care much for meat yet but love fish (only home caught fish so far like bass, crappie, walleye……I don’t catch it but they love salmon too). However, we do get them fries from there and Wendy’s (or wherever else they want).
Rice cakes + plus gross unidentified ‘meat’ at McDonald’s = No Thanks.
Walt, at Wendy’s, I do like their fries and chili. Sounds like the grandkids are delightfully and lovingly spoiled (esp. when you cook:)
Thanks Indy, They are spoiled but in many good ways. I’m making the littlest one a sandbox to play in with his dump trucks. My grandson prefers to play in the pea gravel in my flower beds but the little booger has wallered out a big hole in the middle of one already. lol
Glad you are safe & the storms didn’t get you Indy.
I would not eat this even if..I was starving to Death..It sounds gross and looks gross and to each there own and what ever people like and have passion for is really cool and they should do that all over the world and make the whole world Healthy and who am I to say no without trying it myself.? I am just being full of Drama.
