“Friends” star Matthew Perry’s dream just came true. He saw Neil Simon’s movie “The Odd Couple” when he was 10 years old, and always dreamed of playing Oscar Madison, the messy sportswriter. He pitched an updated remake to CBS with himself as producer, co-writer, and star, and they ordered a pilot! He’s got a “Frasier” writer, Joe Keenan, on board, and now all the show needs is a Felix Unger! How about David Hyde Pierce? Or Eric McCormack? Who do YOU think would be perfect for the fussbudget Felix role?

Well, there’s a new moniker for strom, fussbudget.
The reason Frasier was so wildly popular and successful was because of Joe Keenan. There is not a writer alive now who comes close the wit and clever writing that comes from Mr. Keenan.
The show snagged the best. Know that.
I really love Eric McCormack on his current show, Perception. It really suits him. After watching that, I’d rather see him play Oscar. Sometimes people pay better against type.
being sloppy is trendy these day’s……….
Perry is a complete failure.
Sounds dreadful
It’s been done as a female series and a black series. MIGHT work as a gay series, but not if Perry is involved. He’s the kiss of death.
BEATS ME HOW AND WHY MATTHEW PERRY IS AN ACTOR, BUT WHATEVER
Matthew Perry tries so terribly hard to find a woman that will have him and he tries so terribly hard to find a TV sitcom, that he always ends up a complete failure.
