MATTHEW PERRY COULD WIN A GRAMMY

Despite being in the entertainment industry for close to 40 years, the late Matthew Perry never won any of the big four awards – Oscar, Grammy, Emmy and Tony – but that’s about to change. As we previously revealed Matthew is to be acknowledged with an honorary Emmy – while that’s impressive, one of Matthew’s friends says he’d still want to WIN something. Now there’s a major behind the scenes push to get Matthew a posthumous Grammy for his audiobook recording of his memoir, Friends, Lovers and the Big Terrible Thing. My source says that Matthew is very likely to be included when the Grammy nominations are announced in November .

  1. Awards are meaningless after you are deceased.
It’s all about making money on “Friends” streaming rights.
    Schwimmer desperately needs the cash

  2. Scwimmer’s career needed a boost, but dead men don’t appreciate awards

  3. It’s a shame that Matthew left this earth without having any of those accolades. And I say that knowing how meaningless they are in the grand scheme of things. Still, because of just how much I really appreciated Matthew’s style of comedy; intellect and body of work, I feel that it be only right that he be in the very least acknowledged for his heartfelt memoir. Even though Matt himself isn’t around to enjoy it, I’m sure wherever he is, He can appreciate that gesture and just how much we really loved him.
