When KD Lang left LA in 2012, we assumed she moved back to Canada, but in fact, she moved to Portland, Oregon, where she’s been living happily ever after. She always hated being a celebrity – when her Ingenue album (featuring her hit Constant Cravings) was released in 1992, the world swooned, and Madonna wisecracked “Elvis lives, and she’s beautiful!” Rumors of a Madonna/KD Lang romance swirled, but proved to be untrue. Now 57, KD admits she’s not craving to write new songs, but still loves to perform. Above, she’s in the middle of her Ingenue Redux UK tour in which she performs the entire Ingenue album. She’s still got that pompadour…

  1. k d lang is the epitome of perfection. Circumstances prevented me from seeing her on previous UK Tours so I was determined to do so somewhere this time. I went to Brighton. I was not disappointed. She blew me away. I`m more in love with her now than I was when I first heard her in the late 80s “Cowpunk” days. I hope she comes back because, I confess, I want to see her again, & again & again
