The biggest story of the week was also the saddest: the unexpected death of 27 year old Presley Gerber.  Here’s what we know.  Much like the death of Matthew Perry, Presley’s death is about to turn into a criminal investigation with the Los Angeles District Attorney’s Office secretly gearing up to launch a probe into who  (if anyone) was supplying Presley drugs.  As the son of supermodel Cindy Crawford, Presley undoubtedly had access and the funds to score whatever drugs he wanted , and his death is now being investigated as an overdose.

In more sad news, comedian Carrot Top (aka Scott Thompson) made headlines for an attempted suicide, reportedly taking a large amount of prescription medication at his Las Vegas residence.  Luckily he survived,  and is recovering while his ongoing residency at the Luxor has been indefinitely postponed.  We can tell you this.  The comic’s sexual orientation has long been questioned and reportedly he was being sued for some sort of harassment ( the details are murky).  Some of his non show biz friends in Vegas are planning an intervention urging him to address his sexuality once and for all and start living freely.  We aren’t saying he’s gay or even bisexual, all we are saying is that his friends who know him best feel it’s time for him to live the way he wants to live without hiding.

Donald Trump made headlines again for so many wacky reasons but we will only cover one.  He greeted Chinese President Xi Jinping wearing a winter coat and leather gloves even though it was almost 70 degrees in Washington, DC.  Here’s what we know.  The President’s hands were more bruised than usual when Xi landed , and his usual makeup wasn’t doing the trick.  At the last minute he decided to wear leather gloves to cover the bruising and then realized he looked ridiculous wearing a suit and gloves . THAT’S why he donned the heavy overcoat as well.

Justin Bieber made headlines when he gave an alleged impromptu concert at MacArthur Park in Los Angeles.  We can tell you this.  The event was anything but impromptu .  It was actually a well orchestrated photo op to show the public that the park, long overrun by drug dealers and addicts, was suddenly safe.  My source says Justin wasn’t paid for the performance and it was only the beginning of what’s to come.  We can exclusively reveal that Justin has agreed to perform a free concert in the same  park later this year as a gift to the city.

Dolly Parton made the news from beyond the grave when it was revealed she saved every piece of clothing (including EVERY costume ) she wore through her entire decades long career.  The items are being stored in a large temperature controlled warehouse in Tennessee , which is the size of a football field. We know this.  Many of the items are going to a museum being expanded in Tennessee in honor of Dolly, but many more are being catalogued and then will be auctioned off to raise money for Dolly’s favorite charities  – benefiting literacy and animals.  The auction is expected to rake in tens of millions of dollars for the worthwhile causes.

Tobey Maguire made headlines when it was announced he and his estranged wife, jewelry designer Jennifer Meyer , have finally settled their years long divorce (Jen filed over 5 year ago). Both have moved on and remained on friendly terms , so why did it take so long to divorce?  Here’s what we know.  This was a calculated move because of some financial investments and tax obligations.  Although the marriage was long over and a prenup in place, they deliberately delayed the actual divorce until it made the most financial sense for them.

Rita Wilson, 69 , made headlines and raised a few eyebrows when she revealed an enormous back tattoo that is identical to the one her son Chet has sported for years.  The tattoo of a cross nearly covers her entire back.  We can tell you this.  Rita made a bet with her son that if he stayed out of trouble and stayed clean and sober for a period of time , she would get a matching tattoo. Chet is doing great , so Rita held up her end of the bargain.  A friend though,  wonders if the tattoo is actually real or temporary.  So far Rita is insisting it’s the real deal , but some are a little skeptical.
