David Bowie turned 65 yesterday and we couldn’t help but pay tribute to one of the truly important music and fashion innovators of the world. In this undated photo (we’re guessing early 70’s) Bowie appears to be nonchalantly eating in the dining car of a train. Maybe someone out there can identify his companion.

They sure don’t make rockstars like they used to. In those days rock stars were creative and talented and were, ironically, musicians. Nowadays, the music scene is like the music industry was before the Beatles hit. Tired and boring.
After the meal David gave Mick the best head of his life!

Patrick, as you know, I am an oldie and we grew up dirt poor. We lived on hundreds of acres and had a large drafty house but didn’t have a two nickels to rub together. I never really saw anyone dress like that until I was out of the service, married (with kids) and in college (everyone thought I was the teacher because I was so much older than everyone. lol).
Were you Navy or Air, Walt? What years were you active? Where were you stationed?

Everyone copies Bowie and passes themselves off as original. Bowie actually was original, he copies no one. Gotta give him props for that…

Loved (and still do) Bowie…great voice..not so hot looks, but I never cared about that…loved Ric Ocasek of The Cars too and he was/is one ugly m-effer…but he got and managed to keep a hot as hell model wife Paulina Porizkova.
Same thing on the female side with k.d.lang who has one of THE most beautiful clear crisp clean voices of all time. Saw her in concert, she did the whole thing barefooted, and she was beyond mahvelous and really put her all into it.
Amazing man! Though I haven’t heard his new stuff. He seems to have gone underground (like in Labyrinth!) lol
