We only wish we had been at Barneys the same day Cher turned up in this outfit. She can’t make up her mind whether she wants to be noticed or DOESN’T want to be noticed. Sometimes hats and sunglasses aren’t the best disguise. Still, it’s always fun to see her. (She ‘s extending her Las Vegas appearances into 2010.) She loves the shoe department and photographers outside the store can shoot her there through the windows.
invite her “SON & DAUGHTER” at the same time!!
Cher needs love. She looks sad.
I hate when a senior citizen dresses like they are still in their 20s, famous or not. What is it with Hollywood, they never grow up.
it’s so had to think of Cher aging. It hs to kill her.
I think she looks great and has every right to dress this way, she has the body to pull it off, so why not? There are no rules that say after a certain age you must dress like an old lady in high neck lace collars!!
But, if I’m not mistaken, didn’t she go on a huge world wide RETIREMENT tour? What’s up with THAT? How can you be saying that you are retiring and then be doing huge gigs in Vegas?
By the way, I think she looks very happy!!!
Hey, I just saw the 2003 movie on Comedy Central “Stuck on You” with Matt Damon, and Cher was in it too and in the movie she was wearing this very sweater, or top, with the long sleeves, black with white crosses on it. I couldn’t believe it cause I thought to myself “didn’t I just see her in that top on Janet’s site”? I guess it’s nice to know she doesn’t just wear things once and throw them away like some celebrity morons claim to do (Paris Hilton anyone?)
She has said that she was the happiest when she lived with her boytoy, Rob Camiletti, who was 18 years younger. It is doubtful she will find a stable man at her age, because she will never know if he loves her or her fame and money. Well, she can always live on her memories when she had man after man after man, even one of them being Richie Sambora.
You know that she doesn’t want anyone to ask her about her daughter turning herself into a fake man.
those boots are bad-ass…they’d look great on Cher…I love her attitude – she does what she wants, when she wants. When I was little I wanted to be her – long black hair, great body, tan…I wish she hadn’t had plastic surgery – I liked her original face better…oh well, she still rocks…
Reta I saw that same jacket too in that movie and thought of Janet’s column as well!
Sonny used to say: “I look at Cher and see nothing but talent.” I agree, a true original, with a great strong singing voice and acting chops as well. Few have both.
Cher rocks, I love her.
