JUST DON’T ASK SURI CRUISE ABOUT HER FATHER

She’s growing up fast, and everybody seems to think Suri Cruise, 16, looks like her mother Katie Holmes. But look closely- she is actually a dead-ringer for her father Tom Cruise! A young female version of course, but the resemblance is obvious. That’s probably not what anyone wants to hear, since Scientologist Tom has chosen to cut ties with his only biological daughter and hasn’t seen her for years. Tom’s latest movie Top Gun: Maverick has created quite a sensation – but has Suri even SEEN it? Her father might be the most famous actor in the world- presumably her friends and school mates ask questions about him. It must be SO awkward for her. The only good thing about this father-daughter problem is that Suri has been rescued from a life in Scientology…

Hero Hero Worship Tom Cruise Top Gun: Maverick

THE NON-STOP GLORIFICATION OF MAVERICK AKA TOM CRUISE

We have not seen Top Gun: Maverick yet (lack of interest) but we MIGHT, since Roger Friedman suggested we read a tantalizing review by Luke Y Thompson for The Underground Bunker. Thompson points out that Tom Cruise as Maverick, is worshiped by every character in the movie, and those who disagree with Maverick, only do so because they have not yet realized the full goodness and greatness he possesses! Maverick has been pulled out of retirement to lead a final mission because nobody on the planet has been – or will be – as good as he is. His recent directors seem devoted to glorifying and flattering Cruise, above all else. They add extra scenes of Cruise running or speeding on a motorcycle without a helmet to emphasize his youthful masculinity – in every film. All this hype points to Tom Cruise being the most awesome guy EVER, and he’s loving every minute of it. So are the Scientologists.

TOM CRUISE STILL CRAVES THOSE EXTRA INCHES

It’s fascinating that Tom Cruise and his Top Gun:Maverick costar Jennifer Connelly are the same height (5’7”) and look like it in this photo in spite of the fact that she is wearing platform sandals that give her an extra 4 or 5 more inches. It makes one wonder WHAT Tom Cruise has in his shoes! Tom has his top-of-the-line shoes custom made with special lifts inside. Still, he remains dwarfed by his male costars…

TOM CRUISE: WOMEN ARE EXPENDABLE

Funny how Tom Cruise absolutely INSISTED that all the guys- including his Top Gun rival Val Kilmer -appear in This new Top Gun Maverick, 34 years after the original. All this in spite of the fact that Val has been struggling with cancer for years and can barely speak. It will be interesting to see how his character is portrayed. Of course Tom had NO interest in bringing back his female costar and love interest in the original, Kelly McGillis. Meg Ryan was the other female in the original and she was not invited back either. Why were ONLY the females eliminated? Not even a cameo?… Tom’s new love interest is Jennifer Connolly, 13 years younger than Kelly.

WILL TOM CRUISE EVER SEE HIS DAUGHTER AGAIN?

Tom Cruise is enjoying excellent reviews while promoting his new film Top Gun: Maverick around the world, and he must be feeling successful and happy. His testosterone fueled movie roles always make him look like a heroic figure. (Certainly the Scientologists love that) But what is his 15 year old daughter Suri (Tom’s only biological child) thinking when her father’s photos are all over the internet? Certainly her friends are impressed, but Suri rarely mentions her father and hasn’t seen him in 9 years. All because Suri and her mother Katie Holmes rejected Scientology. In their divorce, Tom got visitation rights but he doesn’t use them- imagine how thrilled Suri would be to attend her father’s movie premier… does she dream about it?
