TINA TURNER “DIDN’T WANNA FIGHT” ANY MORE?

Was Tina Turner’s death something she took charge of? The iconic star passed away from a plethora of illnesses including kidney failure, but a music insider speculates that Tina orchestrated her passing on HER terms. In the months leading up to her death, Tina reconnected with everyone she felt was important in her life, from Cher to Oprah. The insider says that this went on for months. During some of these talks and visits she hinted that she soon planned to stop her daily dialysis treatments and pass away on her own terms. She no longer wanted to live connected to a machine on a daily basis. The insider says that while her last years weren’t the easiest, her passing was peaceful – she was surrounded by flowers, photos, her favorite mementos, and music.

TINA TURNER: LOVE HAS EVERYTHING TO DO WITH IT

It’s so great to see Tina Turner looking healthy and happy. She turned up at the German premier of Tina -The Tina Turner Musical in Hamburg. Her marriage to Ike Turner may have been a disaster, but her relationship with German music executive Erwin Bach, is quite the opposite. After 27 years together, Tina and Erwin married in 2016 and she had a stroke three weeks later. He nursed her through that, cancer, and in 2017, he donated a kidney for Tina! THAT’S love. The Tina Turner Musical opens on Broadway this fall

WE CAN’T GET ENOUGH OF TINA TURNER

The fabulous Tina Turner (and her longtime companion Erwin Bach) has every reason to smile because the new musical based on her life opened in London to great reviews. Tina: The Tina Turner Musical is described as a jukebox musical (our favorite!) and it has the same female musical director as Mamma Mia. Tina’s shoes are really hard to fill, but singer/dancer/actress Adrienne Warren is described as SO delicious playing Tina, (second photo) that it’s expected to propel her into superstardom. The current #MeToo movement makes the tale of Ike Turner’s abuse and Tina’s eventual solo success even sweeter. We can hardly WAIT to see this!

Tina Turner LOOKED happy in the early days of her career with Ike Turner but eventually we learned she was miserable in the abusive marriage. It took her a few decades to tie the knot again, but she spent 27 years with her record producer Erwin Bach to make sure he was the right one. Guess who popped up on a yacht in Croatia! We haven’t seen Tina Turner in awhile and she looks to be in great spirits. She flew in to Dubrovnik, Croatia to join friends on a Swiss millionaire’s gigantic yacht (one of the 100 biggest in the world) where she will be partying this week. The happy singer is still living in Switzerland with her German music executive boyfriend Erwin Bach, and they’ve been together since since 1985. Tina couldn’t resist dancing around after lunch.
