Denzel has an exciting movie coming out in the fall – “Flight” – about a heroic pilot inspired by Sully Sullenberger, who miraculously crash lands safely and saves his passengers, but is later found to have been drinking the night before

It’s odd. Victoria Beckham walks with her head down and doesn’t acknowledge the paparazzi as if having her picture taken is real drag. She was seen walking out of the Miu Miu store in New York and her bodyguard carried multiple shopping bags. But Victoria chose NOT to wear a coat over her pretty outfit even though it’s 30 -something degrees in New York! Actions speak louder than words.

Whenever we see Diana Ross lately she’s casually dressed in her favorite sweats. She’s a regular at the Bristol Farms market in Beverly Hills and today she was in a good mood. The only thing bigger than her smile is her hair. Diana will be receiving a Lifetime Achievement Award at the Grammys this year, maybe then she’ll haul out the sequins.

It’s not easy being Janice Dickinson’s daughter. Janice took Savannah, 17, shopping Beverly Hills and treated her to an expensive Herve Leger dress and a handbag from Furla but Savanna never got as happy as her mother. When Savannah was born, Janice claimed she was fathered by Sylvester Stallone and Sly paid her medical bills. A paternity test eventually revealed that Savannah’s father was someone not so rich and famous.

Every year before Christmas, Harrison Ford turns up at Barneys in Beverly Hills even though he’s a guy who doesn’t particularly like shopping. He’s carrying a tiny bag that most likely contains some special jewelry for Calista Flockhart. At least he has the good taste to shop at Barneys and he picks out something HIMSELF instead of sending someone else to select a gift for her. She has trained him well.
We’ve been wondering what Leonard Cohen has been up to since he rescheduled his European tour from March to this September because of a back injury. He’s 76, (Imagine that! We have a crush on a 76 year old man!) but it looks like he’s healthy enough to continue that tour. We were so jealous when a spy saw him shopping at our local Ralph’s supermarket on 3rd street. Leonard shopped alone, wearing a sport jacket and hat, and when he carried his groceries back to his car, our spy noted that the license plate read: IMURMAN.
The young clerks behind the counter at J Crew in The Grove were startled when a blonde woman stormed up and grandly announced “I’m Faye Dunaway and I need to use the restroom. And I don’t want to be bothered by ANYONE!” The shaken salespeople just STARED – they didn’t know who she was, and they didn’t really allow customers to use the bathroom. But she was so intimidating that they made an exception and led her to the back room. Later Faye was looking at some cardigan sweaters and her terrified young salesman was nervously trying to help fold the garments. She looked at him and scowled “Can you NOT MANHANDLE my sweaters, please!” They will not soon forget the visit from Ms Dunaway.

We’re not sure if Rumer Willis, 22, is a good or a bad influence on her little sister Tallulah, 17. Tallulah already has a tattoo, smokes, and has been caught by police with alcohol. Rumer hasn’t had any outstanding acting jobs lately, but she’s started singing and is said to have a distinctive voice. The sisters, who have a similar fashion sense, went shopping in Beverly Hills this weekend and ended up at Whole Foods.
