SEAN PENN’S KIDS ARE ON THEIR OWN

Last year, Hopper Penn, 29, and Dylan Penn, 31, were at the Cannes Film Festival with their father Sean Penn, presenting his film Flag Day, in which they both appeared. THIS year they are both at the Rome Film Festival with their OWN film, Signs of Love, with no help from their proud Dad. Both kids were introduced to acting in their father’s earlier films and fell in love with it. Dylan stars in Signs of Love as a young man struggling and selling drugs in a rough Philadelphia neighborhood who falls in love with a deaf girl from a well-off family. He begins to imagine a better life, but his alcoholic sister (played by Dylan) and low level companions make it difficult. Hopper and Dylan have appeared in a number of films but  these are their biggest roles so far, so parents Sean and Robin Wright are both (separately) pleased.

ROBIN WRIGHT AND HUSBAND STAY IN SHAPE ON THEIR E-BIKES

Another business that has blossomed during the pandemic is certainly E-Bikes. Robin Wright and her French husband Clement Giraudet (he works for Saint Laurent) cruised on their Turbo E-Bikes in Brentwood together. The motor makes it easier for the less skilled rider to keep up on a hill, but you can still get a socially distant workout. The Rad Power Bikes company says thanks to the pandemic, business is up 297% over last year. Photos of celebrities such as Arnold, Ellen, Kendall, and Leo, have helped to boost demand.

ROBIN WRIGHT’S DOG IS KEEPING UP THE PACE

Robin Wright and her comparatively new and younger husband (married summer of 2018) Clement Giraudet, were rarely seen out together until Covid-19 arrived, and now they are active and outside every day. Clement is the VIP relations manager for Saint Laurent and since celebrities have stopped borrowing designer clothes for the duration, Clement has a lot of free time. He’s spending it exercising outdoors with Robin. They ride bikes, walk their dog, and stroll around the west side daily – without benefit of masks or gloves. We wonder if Robin is as exhausted as their dog appears to be in this photo from yesterday…

SECOND GENERATION HOLLYWOOD: DYLAN PENN

Dylan Penn, 22, daughter of Sean Penn and Robin Wright, lucked out when she inherited her mother’s good looks. She’s already turned down an offer to appear in Playboy. The young model landed a contract with Gap and said she wasn’t at all interested in acting. UNTIL she was offered a role in the movie “Condemned.” She insists she LOVES the script even though it’s a horror movie. Dylan looks a little like Ireland Baldwin.

ROBIN WRIGHT AND BEN FOSTER: SHE GOT HERSELF A YOUNGER, NICER VERSION OF SEAN PENN

We always felt bad for Robin Wright when she was married to Sean Penn because he made her and their kids live in northern California while he caroused in Los Angeles. He tried to make himself look like a hero by claiming his family “wasn’t safe” living in LA. Ridiculous. Robin had a difficult time maintaining her career at that time, but she was always supportive of Sean’s. So we are really happy to hear that Robin, 46, and her young boyfriend Ben Foster, 32, who resembles Penn in both looks and acting technique, but hopefully not in personality, are still together after more than a year and she seems quite happy. They met in 2011 while filming “Rampart.” Recently, temperamental Sean has been whining that he “never felt loved” – maybe because he’s never been very lovable. (Don’t forget he once tied up his then- wife Madonna on Thanksgiving and threatened to stick her head in the oven.)

ROBIN WRIGHT KEPT HER ROMANCE WITH BEN FOSTER UNDERCOVER ALL THIS TIME!

How did Robin Wright pull this off? Apparently she’s been romancing her “Rampart” costar Ben Foster for quite awhile under the radar. Wright, 45, and Foster, 31, finished the movie MONTHS ago and managed to keep their relationship mum. They were only recently caught together in Australia trying to have a low-key dinner at a small restaurant. Ben visited Robin on the set of the movie she’s filming there –“The Grandmothers” with Naomi Watts. It’s about two friends who fall in love with each other’s sons. When you think about it, Ben foster is about as close to a young Sean Penn as you can get…
