FARRAH FAWCETT WOULDN’T RECOGNIZE HER SON REDMOND TODAY

Omigosh! The last time we saw Redmond O’Neal he was tall and skinny and had bright red hair (above with his father Ryan O’Neal in 2007.) Nowadays, he looks so different that if his mother Farrah Fawcett were alive, SHE might not recognize him. Redmond, 28, has spent most of his adult life either in jail or rehab for drugs and firearms charges. He finished his court ordered treatment in October and will be on probation for three more years. For the past 9 month he seems to have been behaving, but he looks like a different person. He shaved his head, packed on some poundage and got some new tattoos. Click HERE to see how he looks today.

LINDSAY LOHAN TO CLIFFSIDE REHAB: “PASS THE ADDERALL!”

As usual, Lindsay Lohan switched rehabs just 30 days into her 90 day sentence in hopes of getting more sympathetic treatment. She left Betty Ford after just 30 days and checked into Cliffside in Malibu with court approval. (Why do they approve these unnecessary moves?) According to RadarOnline she was obnoxious at Betty Ford, demanding Adderall and refusing to attend group therapy. They weren’t sorry to see her go. Justin Bieber’s alleged drug connection is also at Cliffside, so she might like the company better.

CATHERINE ZETA-JONES: THE TRUTH, JUST NOT THE WHOLE TRUTH

It’s undeniably a good thing that Catherine Zeta-Jones is calling attention to bi-polar disorder by admitting that she has checked into treatment centers more than once. She’s being released today after three weeks of health care. But she’s not being entirely open. Catherine says she checks into rehab for help in regulating her medication, but the problem is bigger than that. Bi-polar people frequently abuse alcohol and drugs to make themselves feel better or calmer. Her hospitalization in 2011 was at a detox center and Catherine is known to be a drinker and chain smoker. All things point to the fact that Catherine’s disorder causes her to abuse substances and THAT’S the real reason she checks into treatment centers. This is the part of the disorder that some people don’t like to talk about, but it’s very common and should be addressed.

HAS LINDSAY LOHAN MADE AN INTELLIGENT DECISION FOR A CHANGE?

According to Radaronline, Lindsay Lohan is snubbing Brooke Mueller at Betty Ford. Charlie Sheen’s exwife Brooke chose Betty Ford for her twentieth rehab visit because she looked forward to meeting Lindsay. But a source told Radar that Lindsay wants nothing to do with her. When they both appear for nightly meetings, Brooke attempts to chat with Lindsay but Lohan brushes her off. They are both being treated for Adderall addiction (and who knows what else) but Lindsay, in spite of her friendship with Charlie Sheen, has dismissed Brooke as a common drug addict and keeps her distance. Maybe Lohan has finally made an intelligent decision.

DENISE RICHARDS EMERGES AS THE HERO OF THIS BROOKE MUELLER/ CHARLIE SHEEN MESS

Denise Richards, 42, has certainly redeemed herself. She started out her career as an incredibly beautiful and spoiled actress who was dismissed as a minimal talent. When she married the notorious Charlie Sheen in 2006, people wondered “What kind of person marries a drug addict? They figured “Either she’s after his money or she’s doing drugs WITH him.” Two children and four years later the marriage was over, and there was no evidence of Denise bingeing with her husband. She DID endure numerous insults from Charlie during their divorce, but she managed to remain friendly with the father of her two daughters. Now that Charlie’s latest wife Brooke Mueller is headed toward rehab for the NINETEENTH time, Denise kindly volunteered to care for Charlie’s twin 4 year old sons. Sure, Charlie is helping Denise financially, but she’s gone the extra mile and will give the boys a decent home. (Above, Denise, left, is also friendly with Brooke Mueller, and their kids had a play day a few months ago.)

Brigitte Nielsen wants the world to see that she’s in much better shape than she was the last time we saw her – which was in August when she was photographed rolling around on the grass in a Beverly Hills park with a bottle of liquor in her hand – almost looking like a vagrant. At the time, we wondered if it was a stunt to get herself booked on another rehab reality series. Most of her income comes from reality shows of some kind. Four months later she appeared (above) at an award show in Paris looking slightly Asian.

Farrah Fawcett’s drug addicted son Redmond, 27, just out of court ordered rehab for approximately the dozenth time and he’s free to go back home – wherever that is. Hopefully it’s nowhere near his father Ryan O’Neal who has been mixed up in his drug escapades in the past. While Redmond was locked up he managed to do a good deed by paying $100,000 for his half-sister Tatum’s rehab. Redmond doesn’t have his mother’s trademark smile – his abused looking teeth more closely resemble those of Charlie Sheen. Drugs.

BOBBY BROWN’S SHOW MUST GO ON, DESPITE WIFE’S “SEIZURE”

The fact that his wife Alicia Etheridge was hospitalized after having a seizure doesn’t bode well for Bobby Brown’s recovery. Despite her hospitalization, Bobby performed that same night with The New Edition at a Florida resort. (He obviously wasn’t too worried.) Keep in mind, just a few days ago, he checked out of rehab himself after only three weeks of treatment. In spite of his apparent alcoholism (DUI included) Alicia married Bobby ten weeks ago. Since seizures often indicate substance abuse, it looks like Bobby has another problematic wife. His ex-wife Whitney Houston famously died from a drug overdose. People seem to keep marrying the same person, don’t they?

Can’t say we’re the LEAST bit surprised to hear that Bobby Brown checked into rehab. Remember he was arrested for DUI in March when he was stopped for driving while talking on his cell phone. A few months before that, we told you we got into a Beverly Hills elevator with Bobby, his then fiancée Alicia Etheridge, and their young son, (Bobby’s 6th child) and although it was only 12 noon, Bobby REEKED of alcohol. What DOES surprise us is the fact that his girlfriend Alicia MARRIED him anyway, two months ago. Why would anyone marry an apparent alcoholic? We’re surprised that she didn’t push him into rehab before the wedding. What’s wrong with these people? So far there are no details on where or how he is getting treatment.
