FOR THE FIRST TIME, WE ACTUALLY FEEL SORRY FOR KIM KARDASHIAN WEST

If you’re wondering what bipolar Kanye West is doing at his Wyoming property when he’s not making music or writing presidential speeches, he has massive building projects underway. Kanye aspires to be “the greatest” real estate developer. (He actually owns two large properties in Wyoming. He’s building a factory to manufacture his clothing designs, he’s frantically building ten homes (like the experimental domes he was forced to remove in Calabasas) AND since he’s confident in his architectural skills, he’s building a ten bedroom mansion that he hopes his family will move into. (Fat chance of that happening.) His Wyoming property is buzzing and loaded with construction workers and big equipment, so yeah, he’s keeping busy. We actually feel sorry for Kim…

Bi-polar Catherine Zeta-Jones Rehab

CATHERINE ZETA-JONES: THE TRUTH, JUST NOT THE WHOLE TRUTH

It’s undeniably a good thing that Catherine Zeta-Jones is calling attention to bi-polar disorder by admitting that she has checked into treatment centers more than once. She’s being released today after three weeks of health care. But she’s not being entirely open. Catherine says she checks into rehab for help in regulating her medication, but the problem is bigger than that. Bi-polar people frequently abuse alcohol and drugs to make themselves feel better or calmer. Her hospitalization in 2011 was at a detox center and Catherine is known to be a drinker and chain smoker. All things point to the fact that Catherine’s disorder causes her to abuse substances and THAT’S the real reason she checks into treatment centers. This is the part of the disorder that some people don’t like to talk about, but it’s very common and should be addressed.

Everyone’s talking about the news that Catherine Zeta Jones checked into a Connecticut hospital facility to deal with her “bipolar disorder.” Granted, she’s had a tough year living with her husband’s illness, but she’s not telling the whole story. Silver Hill Hospital specializes in treating psychiatric disorders combined with substance abuse. The National Enquirer broke this story (although few blogs credited them) in this week’s issue and they revealed that Catherine went right into the detox center of the hospital and checked out after five days. Self-medication might be her main problem. (Above, she accused a photographer of hitting her in the face in London in February)

Adam Ant Bi-polar Manic Depressive Then and Now

ADAM ANT’S ATTIRE IS THE LEAST OF HIS PROBLEMS

We didn’t know that Adam Ant (above, then and now) was diagnosed as bi-polar and has been battling manic depression for years. Since his heyday he’s had a few legal skirmishes and hospitalizations. According to the Daily Mail, he was attempting a comeback at a charity event in the UK this week but when he started rambling and wasting time onstage, the audience turned on him and booed. He responded by yelling obscenities and insulting Christians in particular. The next day he was locked up in a mental hospital where he is now recovering.
