REESE WITHERSPOON’S LITTLE GIRL CAN’T HELP IT

Paparazzi were waiting at LAX when Reese Witherspoon and her daughter Ava Phillippe, 17, arrived, and it was hard to tell who they were after. Reese was understated in black while Ava looked more like a movie star than her mom. She’s a gorgeous combination of her mother and her father Ryan Phillippe, and the photographers love her. Reese says her daughter is interested in art and songwriting, but since her stepfather, Jim Toth, is an agent, we bet she’ll eventually give acting a tumble.

LENA DUNHAM DOESN’T KNOW HOW TO DRESS IN LA

Lena Dunham and Reese Witherspoon had a business lunch meeting with someone in Los Angeles (discussing a project?) and Reese showed up looking California perky on a hot and sunny day. New Yorker Lena was clad in a black dress and an ankle length trench coat tied with a red bow. On a brighter note, Lena observed that Justin Bieber’s new song promotes a rape culture – he asks “What do you mean – yes or no?” She means NO, Justin!

Daughter Hair! Preppy Reese Witherspoon

REESE WITHERSPOON’S DAUGHTER IS NO LONGER HER MINI-ME

LOVE this photo of Reese Witherspoon and her fifteen year old daughter Ava. Apparently Ava has no intention of being described as her mother’s “mini-me” any longer. When she was younger they dressed and looked alike, but Ava has declared her independence. While her mom wears a pleated skirt and preppy v neck sweater with her blonde pony tail, Ava is sporting combat boots, jeans and a sheer plaid shirt. PLUS bright pink hair! One thing they still have in common: they both love Bubble (Boba) Tea!

We love it when a major movie star is caught looking like a plain Jane. Reese Witherspoon was on her way to a swimming class in West LA when paparazzi caught her unaware. With her usually lush blonde hair hastily pulled back, simple loose fitting clothes and no makeup, Reese could pass for just another housewife… it’s actually a good disguise.

Matthew McConaughey Movies Mud Reese Witherspoon

THE MOVIE “MUD” IS WAY BETTER THAN THE TITLE SUGGESTS

If you get a chance to see the movie “Mud” with Matthew McConaughey and Reese Witherspoon, DO IT! It’s an engrossing story about two 14 year old boys who live in rural Georgia on an island in the Mississippi River. This is a coming of age adventure and a peek into another culture and a different world. Walking out, we felt like we’d just read a great book. (And we are NOT usually fans of Matthew. He and Reese will surprise you in this movie) ) All the characters are very real – they’re not all good, but you can empathize with each of them. Give this movie a chance – it is a real gem and well worth the price of admission. It may still be playing at small theaters or get the video.

REESE WITHERSPOON’S FAMILY HAS EXPANDED

Reese Witherspoon and Jim Toth have only been married since March but they’ve already added to their family. Reese’s two children (with Ryan Phillippe) Ava, 12, and Deacon, 8, found two feral kittens in their garden. Reese planned to give the kittens to a kitten rescue shelter but before she could, the family fell in love with them. Even Jim’s dog gets along with the kittens, so they’re staying with the Toths.
