SMUGGLER ELIZABETH TAYLOR BREAKS THE LAW

Is Liz a criminal? If it’s a crime to love your dog too much – then, yes, she is! Recently Liz chartered a private plane to fly her and friends to Hawaii where she was photographed observing the sharks. Nobody paid much attention to the fact that Liz had her beloved Maltese Daisy with her at the hotel, and they were inseparable throughout the vacation. She stayed at the luxurious Kahala hotel where pets are welcome. But the fact is, Liz smuggled her pet onto the island. Animals are subject to a SIX MONTH quarantine (fear of rabies) in Hawaii, so mainland visitors don’t bring their pets. But somehow, sneaky Liz managed to smuggle her Daisy right past officials.

Collar Him Spoiled

Elizabeth Taylor isn’t the only pet pamperer. In 1999 Cher fell in love with a six month old stray mutt she encountered in Italy where she was filming “Tea with Mussolini.” She named the lucky dog “Pippo” and brought him back to her home in Malibu where he’s leading a lush life. Cher already dolled him up in a $5000 leather and silver collar from her favorite designers Chrome Hearts.

Morose Maltese

1999: Leave it to Elizabeth Taylor to come up with this indulgence. Liz is worried because her Maltese, Sugar, is nervous and her hair is thinning . Liz blames herself and thinks the dog’s problems are due to her own personal traumas. To make it up to her beloved pet she’s planning to have genuine Maltese hair woven into the dog’s coat. Money is no object – Liz will pay whatever is necessary for the hair extensions to make Sugar look great.
