It’s the Nicolas Cage family holiday picture. The family got together in Vienna, Austria where Nic is filming “Season of the Witch.” (It’s about 14th century monks who harbor a suspected witch in their monastery.)They all went to a theater there to see the opera “The Rake’s Progress.” Above are Alice Kim, Nic, his son Weston and Weston’s girlfriend. Apparently Weston takes after his mother Christina Fulton in the hair department.

We love the way Nicolas Cage supports his teenagel son Weston’s music career. Weston has what is described as a black metal band called Eyes of Noctum. They played at the Whisky recently and Nic showed up. Since Nic was always off-beat as a kid, (and also has a penchant for black leather) we imagine he’s open minded about his son’s hard core band and life style.

It’s not the least bit surprising that Nicolas Cage’s son Weston turned out to be an off-beat character like his dad. The seventeen year old son of Cage and former girlfriend Christina Fulton has gone full-on goth and he’s now the lead singer of a band called Eyes of Noctum. If you’re lucky you can catch them playing around LA. It looks like his mother has gone goth too.

Nicolas Cage seems much less eccentric since he got married to Alice Kim. (Pictured here at a Van Halen concert) We liked him better when he was more of a David Lynch off-beat character married to Lisa Marie Presley. Now that he’s in the 20 million dollars a movie range it seems like he’s become a lot more socially acceptable. But he’s definitely still interesting.
WHO, you might ask, is this celebrity stuffing his face? It happens to be Nicolas Cage, who has been vacationing on his yacht in Capri, Italy. He’s got that just-rolled-out-of-bed look and didn’t even bother to comb his hair – what’s left of it. It’s a safe guess he had no idea this photo was being taken.
Looks like Nicolas Cage won’t be picking up any more tabs at newsstands in Bel Air – He’s selling his Bel-Air home for 35 million. No word yet on where his collectable cars are going…
Bowlers at Pinz Bowling Alley in Studio City on October 14 were amused to see Nicolas Cage having a good time knocking down pins. He looked like any other guy in a white shirt and dark jeans and goofy rented bowling shoes.- his hair was dyed black and longish. The real attraction was his pretty bowling companion – a tall lanky blonde who looked like a model. Definitely NOT his wife Alice. But don’t jump to conclusions. A nearby bowler took a close look that revealed while Nic was laughing and having fun with the unidentified young woman – he was treating her in a platonic, almost “fatherly” way. Too many people got interested in the pair, and Nic and his mystery companion left after one game.
For years Nicolas Cage has collected unique and vintage cars – including Jaguars, Bugattis, Corvettes, Cadillacs, Alfa Romeos, etc. He has bought and sold millions of dollars worth. He says he continually pares down his collection to the cars he drives the most. Recently he read about a 2002 Bentley Continental T limited edition black on black with only $9000 miles on it up for sale. In 2002 the car sold for almost $400,000. (Isn’t this the car Ben Affleck bought for J.Lo?) Anyway, Nic called the seller and introduced himself and asked “Would you bring the car to my house in Newport Beach?” The seller arrived at Nic’s gated home and was greeted by security who sent him up to the house. Nic was just getting out of the pool with his baby and he asked the guy “Have you eaten?” He invited the car owner to join him and his family for pizza freshly made by Cage’s chef. After lunch Nic admired the car and remarked “I like it but I have the think about it.” Ultimately Nic decided against the car but, the seller’s not complaining – he has memories of his pleasant afternoon at Nic’s.
