BELLA HADID DOING HER BEST BLAC CHYNA IMITATION

What possessed a perfectly lovely model like Bella Hadid to dress like a desperate-for-attention stripper at the Met after party? Was she trying to get her exboyfriend The Weeknd to take his eyes off his tastefully attired new girlfriend Selena Gomez? KATY PERRY MASH-UP AT THE MET GALA: ALMOST THE WORST DRESSED

Martin Margiela just might be in a twist over Katy Perry’s Maison Margiela dress at the Met Gala, which was custom designed by John Galliano, who took his place. Katy’s gown was the antithesis of Margiela’s fashion theory of shocking simplicity with avant-garde shapes. MET GALA 2017: ONLY THE COURAGEOUS DARE TO WEAR COMMES DES GARCONS

The theme for this year’s Met Gala was Commes des Garcons by our favorite designer Rei Kawakubo and the dress code, of course, was avant-garde. Not many guests had the courage to WEAR Commes des Garcons because it takes a very brave celebrity to do so. Kawakubo’s designs are structured enough to go out by themselves and not many woman (especially performers) are willing to cover their bodies and not look sexy. Two of the bravest attendees actually wearing Commes des Garcons were Rihanna and Rick Owens’ wife Michele Lamy. We salute them!
