Kate Hudson turned up at the GLSEN Respect Awards looking like THIS. Considering the fact that she has her own activewear clothing collection, you’d think Kate would give a liitle thought to her appearance. She’s awfully cute, and it’s not easy to make her look dowdy, but this glitzy jumpsuit makes her look a mile wider and a foot shorter. It’s a combination of several questionable trends..inexplicable.

And Kate Hudson’s date last night was her cute 12 year old son Ryder Robinson. She took Ryder to see the Broadway smash “Hamilton.” Ryder’s father is Black Crowes singer Chris Robinson who was married to Kate for 7 years. Ryder spends time with his dad and will probably appreciate the musical more than most kids his age. We used to tease Kate because she pushed Ryder around in a stroller until he was way too big.

For a quiet, rather soft spoken guy, Coldplay singer Chris Martin, 38, really gets around. Malibu was sizzling today and he and Kate Hudson, 35, might have been sizzling also. It was a family day with two sets of kids and assorted nannies and friends. Chris wore a wetsuit while surfing and Kate tanned in her bikini. They make kind of a cute couple – he has a weakness for blondes and she has a weakness for musicians.

Goldie Hawn and her daughter Kate Hudson showed up during Paris Fashion Week to congratulate Donatella Versace on her new collection, and maybe get some free samples. Kate is wearing a very amusing Versace design with abstract cutouts. Donatella is rocking the extreme bellbottoms and together they make Goldie look just a little dowdy. Goldie is one of those good looking women in Hollywood of a certain age that can’t land a job. She hasn’t made a movie for 13 years and we miss her.

Kate Hudson, 35, almost made up for all those bad movies she’s been making with her appearance at the LACMA Art & Film Gala. She looks drop dead gorgeous – like a classic MOVIE STAR! Which she SHOULD be, at this time of her life, but she makes bad movie choices. She was delightful in her first big role in “Almost Famous” in 2000, but all those lame romantic comedies that followed nearly obliterated her talent. She’s changing her strategy and aiming toward independent films with better scripts these days.

Zach Braff finished that movie he made with Kickstarter money and took it to Sundance. A friend of ours had donated to his project even though we asked “Why are you sending money to a wealthy actor?” She believed in his talent and enjoyed receiving emails about his progress. The movie, titled “Wish I Was Here,” is a dramatic family comedy written by Zach and his brother as a follow-up to ”Garden State.” Braff is the leading man and Kate Hudson plays his wife, with Mandy Patinkin as his father. Braff turned down traditional financing in favor of Kickstarter to maintain creative control and film at his own pace. When the movie screened at Sundance, some critics called it rather “self indulgent”, but Braff’s fans laughed and cried and LOVED it, and gave him a standing ovation.

Kate Hudson is pulling a Madonna and now speaks with a fake British accent. Her friends are not particularly amused by the affectation and some say they don’t recognize her when she calls! Kate has been spending most of her time in London with her fiancee Matthew Bellamy and their baby Bingham. Is that really an excuse?
Kate Hudson, 32, got engaged to her boyfriend Matthew Bellamy, 32, in April and they planned to set a date after their baby was born. Their little boy Bingham was born in July, followed by dead silence about the wedding. Still no date has been mentioned causing people to wonder if they changed their minds. It looks like Kate IS planning a wedding later this year in the UK because she consulted designer Stella McCartney about a wedding dress. She wants a unique gown with a Bohemian feel, but it won’t be white – she definitely wants a color. Kate wants her second wedding to be different, but just as fabulous as her first.
New mom Kate Hudson is excitedly planning her wedding when she’s not tending to her new baby boy Bingham, born in July. She and her rocker fiancee Matthew Bellamy, front man for Muse, will wed in the beautiful English countryside this fall. Kate wants to shed some of her baby weight before the event and plans to fly family and friends to the UK for the nuptials
Kate Hudson doesn’t have a serious romance in her life (not for lack of trying!) so she’s decided to have a second baby on her own. She’s 31 and really wants a sibling for 6 year old Ryder so waiting around for “Mr Perfect” is out of the question. Kate consulted a fertility doctor to learn her options as a single mom. It’s complicated. She really doesn’t want to use an anonymous sperm donor, but she’s hesitant to ask a friend to father her baby. And it’s not easy to decide WHICH friend would be suitable. Whatever her decision, she hopes to be pregnant before the end of the year.
