Jennifer Lopez and her sister took j.lo’s daughter Emme on an all-girl shopping expedition for new school clothes in New York yesterday. Emme could go anywhere she wanted and she by-passed the fancy stores and chose to shop at highly affordable H&M like the rest of her friends. Nice that Emme seems to be a down to earth kid in spite of her celebrity family.

To say the least, Jennifer Lopez made no attempt to disguise herself as she shopped on Lincoln Road in Miami. Many shoppers ogled as Jen and her kids Max and Emme browsed in clothing stores and stopped at Apple to buy Max a new iPhone.

Jennifer Lopez got the grand entrance she hoped for at the New York premier of Second Act – her hot pink gown went on FOREVER! Good-natured Alex Rodriguez struggled to get her and her voluminous dress out of the car and through the crowd – eventually he succeeded. What we really want to see is a photo of Jennifer sitting in her theater seat!

We didn’t realize that Jennifer Lopez broke all kinds of ticket sales records when she wrapped up her All I Have residency at Planet Hollywood a few weeks ago. Her closing night was packed with celebrities and sold 1.43 million dollars worth of tickets – a new record for one night. She’s also the fastest performer to reach more than $100 million in ticket sales at the venue!

Look closely – it’s a fashion optical illusion – but it is definitely entertaining. Jennifer Lopez’s belted denim baggy boots are designed to look like her jeans are falling down (at first glance) especially worn just with a white shirt. Jennifer put the outfit together perfectly and we like her sense of humor. We can’t forget to credit Ariana Grande for putting the “no-pants” look on the map – obviously the inspiration for the “pants falling down” look!

Jennifer Lopez knows that blending families can be a real challenge and her kids are getting along famously with Alex Rodriguez’s kids. They also seem fond of Alex and don’t resent him as a “substitute father.” All that happiness COULD change if Jennifer and Alex were to walk down the aisle. Competition, jealousy, whatever – things can go downhill fast. Right now they are quite happy – so why complicate everything with a legal marriage?

The Shades of Blue star is currently performing in Las Vegas and enjoying her relationship with Alex Rodriguez, but she found time to promote the OTHER TV series she produces – World of Dance. She also appears on the show as a judge. Jennifer turned up at a press junket for the show wearing THIS amazing dress – a cross between a lampshade and a Dixie cup – and adorable. And she CAN sit – biker shorts are built into the outfit.

Jennifer Lopez had a meeting in a Beverly Hills office building after her workout and unfortunately didn’t have time to change. We say “unfortunately” because the white pastel tights she’s wearing don’t do her any favors. And she’s one of the best looking – and fittest- celebrities around. Looks like Jennifer Lopez decided it was time for Alex Rodriguez to upgrade his wardrobe for the new year. She’s wearing a long Tom Ford letter sweater with “Guccy” written on the back, and took Alex to Ford’s Rodeo Drive store. She picked out several sweaters and pants for him to try on and he modeled them for her. All of them looked better than the outfit he wore in, and Jennifer selected her favorites. Both looked happy on their way out the back door …
