Matt Damon is packing up the wife and kids and moving to Las Vegas and he wants his best buddy Ben Affleck to join him. An insider says that Matt is making the move for various tax reasons -including no state income tax and the the city recently passed a huge movie production tax incentive in hopes of becoming the next Hollywood. Here’s where it gets interesting: Ben’s better half is open to the idea because she’s been offered a residency at one of the casinos. Ben and Jen are discreetly looking at houses in the same posh area where Matt bought a home.

BEN AFFLECK JUST CANNOT CURB THAT URGE

The honeymoon isn’t over for rekindled lovebirds Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck but that doesn’t mean everything between them is marital bliss. While J.Lo is thrilled to finally be married to Ben, there’s one habit of his she’s trying to curb – he smokes cigarettes. Sober Ben seems to have replaced his booze addiction with nicotine and health fanatic Jen doesn’t approve. She’s banned him from smoking inside the house, but still isn’t thrilled with the second hand smoke that seems to enter the room before he does. And Ben appears to light up whenever he’s out and alone. A friend says Jen is gently encouraging Ben to quit with assorted methods, including hypnosis and nicotine gum, but so far he’s yet to kick that nasty habit.

Jennifer Lopez took her vintage-loving daughter Emme (blue shorts) to the Hollywood flea market and there’s so much to look at that she attracted very little attention. (We have to point out that Jennifer’s choice of footwear for a flea market was far from ideal) Emme loves vintage rock n’ roll t-shirts and used jeans, and she actually looks happier rummaging at the flea market than she did shopping the designer stores like Gucci and Prada in Italy with her mom..

Ben Affleck Honeymoon Jennifer Lopez Kids Paris Shopping

IS THIS THE PERFECT FAMILY, OR WHAT?

Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck didn’t spend ALL their time smooching in Paris, where they’re honeymooning with four of their kids. Jennifer brought her twins Max and Emme, and Ben brought his two daughters Seraphina and Violet – he left his young son Sam at home. From all the photos we’ve seen, the kids seem to get along really well and love to hang out together. Ben and Jen took their blended family shopping and after visiting Dior and an art supply store (for Serephina) they visited Micromania– a popular video game retailer. Ben stocked up on games (for Sam at home?) while their eagle-eyed bald bodyguards (above) looked on. You can see Emme in the shop doorway and Max is next to Ben. Crowds gather outside the Costes Hotel in Paris to watch the honeymooners coming and going.

OUR TWO FAVORITE ROOMS IN THE NEW AFFLECK/LOPEZ HOUSE

While Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck are on their Italian honeymoon (with their kids, no less!) work has begun on the new 60 million dollar 29,000 sq ft Beverly Hills house they bought before they left. They kept the purchase a big secret and nobody knows exactly what they paid for it, but billionaire James Packer once owned it. You already know it has 7 bedrooms and everything else a human could want, but after checking out the photos we picked out the two rooms we love most. The first is the amazingly well-equipped beauty salon that will keep the blended families looking their best. Sigh. Drool. The second desirable room also made us dizzy with envy- it’s the closet – and it looks like an expensive boutique. Now THAT’S breathtaking luxury…

BIG SPENDERS BEN AND JEN PICK OUT A NEW ROLLS ROYCE

Lovebirds Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez have not been spending their free time together lounging on island beaches – they spend it shopping for big-ticket items! For the past year, they’ve been househunting for a mega-mansion big enough for their blended families. They almost bought one in April for 55 million, but the deal fell through. Recently the couple perused the Aaron Spelling 165 million dollar mansion, but passed on that one. This weekend is different, however- they went shopping for a new Rolls Royce in Beverly Hills with Ben’s son Sam. Salespeople must jump out of their shoes when they see these big spenders coming…

Nice to see that busy Jennifer Lopez finds time to shop with her daughter Emme- the pair hit the funky end of Melrose Avenue to look for vintage clothing at Jet Rag. Emme has eclectic taste and she’s not all about designer fashion like her mother. However, as Jennifer was getting into her car we were struck by the sight of her 8 inch platform summer shoes. Are they REALLY safe for driving? We can imagine all sorts of bad things happening…any opinions out there?

Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck were seen picking up his son Samuel at school in Santa Monica today, and it got us thinking. They’re both casually dressed, but Jennifer is wearing shoes that give her at least 6 or 7 more inches of height (they can’t be very comfortable) -yet she still looks TINY next to Ben. Jennifer is such a big personality we always figured she was above average in height. Turns out Ben is 6’4” – no wonder he looks a foot taller than her. Never realized there was such a height difference…

JENNIFER AND BEN BOUGHT A HOUSE TOGETHER

Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez just made an enormous investment in their future- they purchased a $50 million dollar mansion in Bel-Air with 17 bathrooms together! The sprawling 10 bedroom (almost 20,000 sq ft) house will be just the right size to blend the two families. Jennifer has two children from her previous marriage, and we imagine her mother and sister will be frequent visitors. Ben’s three children will certainly have rooms of their own, along with various grandparents. (It has already been established that the kids get along nicely) The house features a magnificent “hers” closet with makeup table, but there’s no sense showing a photo because Ben and Jennifer will no doubt remodel the entire place.

Surely Jennifer Lopez didn’t expect her daughter Emme (with Marc Anthony) to follow in her elegant footsteps. Mother and daughter went shopping at The Grove, and like many kids, Emme,13, is rebelling and establishing her own look. Oversize seems to be the motto for young hipsters today and Emme wants nothing to do with her mom’s fitted silhouettes. She’s perfectly happy – and in style- wearing the gigantic sweater tucked into her generous overalls. Emme has a mind of her own…
