Jason Schwartzman

JASON SCHWARTZMAN TAKES UP A LOT OF SPACE AT THE FARMER’S MARKET

We always knew Jason Schwartzman, 33, was a little eccentric- but totally lovable. He’s a husband and father now, but hasn’t changed much. We were mystified to see Jason at the farmer’s market pushing a double stroller full of purchases – and no children in sight. In fact, his kids, Marlowe, 8, and Una, 4, are way too old for a stroller. So we’re guessing that Jason uses their old stroller like a shopping basket for his fruits and vegetables…

JASON SCHWARTZMAN PULLED A FAST ONE

Leave it to “Funny People” star Jason Schwartzman,29, to pull off a secret wedding that nobody found out about for almost six weeks! Getting married at his home in the valley was smart because paparazzi rarely venture to the “over the hill.” Jason and his longtime love, designer Brady Cunningham, tied the knot on July 11 in the presence of a few friends and family members, and of course their bulldog Arrow.

“FUNNY PEOPLE” HAS A LOT TO OFFER

We decided we really prefer Adam Sandler in other people’s movies. He’s very appealing in “Funny People” and you’re going to love the movie if you can get past those rampant penis jokes and crude references. Judd Apatow’s effort is really a dramatic comedy with the best elements of both. Slimmed down Seth Rogan and Jonah Hill are dependably hilarious as aspiring comics, and adorable Jason Schwartzman as an egocentric sitcom star is perfect. Surprising celebrity cameos abound. It’s a great summer movie full of characters you want to spend time with.

JASON SCHWARTZMAN AND TRINA TURK BUY STUFF AT GARAGE SALES

jasoncutschwartzman.jpgWe had a garage sale here in LA this weekend and the mid-century furniture, Herman Miller chairs, slightly used Too-Faced make-up, saddle shoes, 1970’s 3 speed bike, and vintage clothing, attracted quite a variety of customers. Among them two celebrities: First the famous designer Trina Turk – she’s a real beauty with a black Louise Brooks bob and among the things she brought was a 70’s print top with HER label in it. She explained it was made of vintage polyester fabric and she only produced a few of them. Also livening up the sale was Shopgirl actor Jason Schwartzman and his cute girlfriend whom he introduced as “Brady Cunningham.” (Sounds too retro to be true!) They snapped up a pair of bright yellow school issue metal chairs.
