ANDY COHEN: LOOKING FOR LOVE?

Andy Cohen is considered one of the pioneers of reality TV – thanks to Bravo and his Real Housewives franchise – but will the Housewives host become the STAR of his biggest show? Despite his professional success, single dad Andy is just unlucky in love and looking for a partner, and now he might just do it on TV. Andy is working on a new version of The Bachelor, in which HE would be the one handing out roses. The working title is Dating Andy Cohen and of course it’s been greenlit by Bravo, but production has yet to begin. We can only imagine the hunky model types Andy will try to woo, but have our doubts that he will actually find real love.

ANDY COHEN AND JOHN MAYER HAVE SOMETHING ELSE IN MIND

Andy Cohen recently addressed the rumors that he was getting frisky with his best friend, John Mayer. While Andy’s denial is true, (John is in touch with his feminine side, but he’s 100% straight) what he didn’t address is the top secret project for Bravo they’re working on. According to my inside Bravo source, Andy has been after John for years to star in a reality show on Bravo. John’s resisted until now. The concept is still being worked out, but will mostly revolve around John’s life as a playboy who is suddenly looking to settle down. As we previously reported, John’s also interested in starting a family, so expect that to be a part of the show.

TORI SPELLING REALLY WANTS TO BECOME A “HOUSEWIFE”

Tori Spelling might finally fulfill her dream of joining The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, but there is one caveat – her glamorous and wealthy mom, Candy, must come along for the ride. Tori’s friendly with Bravo’s Andy Cohen and through the years has campaigned to be cast on the popular reality show. Now that she’s going through a dramatic divorce from her estranged husband Dean McDermott, Andy is seriously considering offering Tori a spot in the show, most likely as a friend of the Housewives – but he INSISTS that Candy agree to appear as well. As my source explains it, the most interesting part of Tori is her complicated relationship with her mom, and if that wasn’t enough -Candy can deliver the glam with her oversized jewels and penthouse in the sky. If Tori persuades her mom to do it, she’s IN!

Despite dating his way through Hollywood, including Jessica Simpson, Taylor Swift, and  Jennifer Aniston, playboy John has yet to find his soulmate. KATHARINE McPHEE A BEVERLY HILLS HOUSEWIFE? NO WAY!

 

Katherine McPhee recently turned down a 7 figure deal to join The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.  Although the Bravo show’s newest season began airing October 25 ( all of the episodes are filmed in advance) producer Andy Cohen is looking ahead to season 14 and wants to spice things up with some bigger name Housewives. Our Bravo source tells us that Katherine was offered six figures per episode to join the show ( and with over 10 episodes a season that’s over a million dollars for a few months worth of work!)  Katherine was mulling over the idea, but her husband , music producer David Foster, immediately nixed it.  He saw his marriage to then Housewife Yolanda Hadid disintegrate and he blames her involvement on the reality show as one of the reasons.  Since Katherine is a no go, Andy is looking for other stars to join as he plans to shake up the cast after this season.

ANDERSON COOPER AND ANDY COHEN: ALMOST ROOMMATES

Anderson Cooper and Andy Cohen have been friends for ages, but now they could become roommates. The guys call NYC home, but both spend enough time in Los Angeles for work and social commitments that they’ve started looking at a place to buy together. Anderson and Andy are looking at large condominiums in the West Hollywood and Beverly Hills area. They want a place where they can come and go without worrying about anything, so a doorman is on their list of requirements. They’d rarely if ever be there at the same time, but nonetheless want at least 3 bedrooms, one for each of them and a kids room for their children. In case you were curious- money doesn’t seem to be much of an issue as they’re looking in the $5 million and above category.

They’ve never been more than friends, but CNN New Year’s Eve hosts Anderson Cooper and Andy Cohen are taking their relationship to the next level – executors of each others wills!
