The original wardrobe designer for City, Patricia Field, chose not to continue working for the new series. We really miss her! And here’s WHY! (see photo above) Sarah Jessica Parker’s Carrie looks quite uncomfortable in this peculiar pink and red combo with the plaid overcoat. The sequin top is matronly and the hat is just plain goofy.
