Our longtime friend, songwriter/artist Allee Willis, has always been a cheerleader for her hometown Detroit, and her alma mater, Mumford High School. Growing up in Motor City gave her a special love for music and zest for life. Hurt by the negative stories about her beloved Detroit’s deterioration, she decided to DO something about it. According to Allee, Detroit will RISE again! For the past year she’s been orchestrating a SONG for the city, a video, and finally a feature film about Detroit and its inhabitants. The goal is to reignite hope and joy in the people of Detroit and raise money for schools there. (Please click HERE to donate!) The snippet above is a just a hint of great things to come….
Allee Willis Detroit
Thanks, I enjoyed watching that.
I spent the first 28 years of my life in Detroit, family is still there. While there have been some positive things happening, the one problem that won’t go away is the crime. The people who live there always vote idiots into office, and if said idiots commit crimes these same people would vote for them again! There is just so much ignorance, all the “getting one over on the man” type of thinking. Once you have several generations of a family on welfare it seems to become impossible to not expect handouts.
Absolutely, the BLACK leaders stole Detroit blind and enabled their people to enjoy the welfare benefits and run from work…..sounds like Barry Obama scenario.
………….the new episode of MotorTown has just begun, folks.
Yep, the BLACKS don’t understand they are being played by their leaders. They should abandon them in droves and vote the other party in with a chance to make some changes.
Obama phones from Barry Obama!
