OSCAR WINNER NICOLAS CAGE IS NOW A PILLOW

Now HERE is the answer to your holiday gift problems! A gift for almost all ages – and anyone with a sense of humor or a love of Hollywood. An Australian company is offering a Nicolas Cage in a banana throw pillow in multiple sizes for all budgets. Actually, this gift might cheer up Cage himself because he’s not happy about the sudden realization that he is 54 and single. “I didn’t see that coming.” His third wife Alice Kim suddenly filed for divorce after 14 years of marriage two years ago. (He was previously married to Patricia Arquette and Lisa Marie Presley.)

FURTHER PROOF THAT JUSTIN BIEBER WANTS TO SETTLE DOWN

Justin Bieber knows his way around a stroller! The singer may not look so hot in this photo, but he DOES have a sense of humor. He had breakfast alone at a Toluca Lake café and ran into some fans outside, including a man with these pampered dogs. Justin was nice to all the kids, dogs, and people who approached him, according to paparazzi…

JUSTIN BIEBER JUST WANTS TO SETTLE DOWN

Justin Bieber and Hailey Baldwin look like they are in a Norman Rockwell painting in this photo of them leaving church. They had spent the day looking at very expensive homes for sale – including Rihanna’s and Demi Lovato’s, but so far they have not found the perfect lovenest.

CHRIS PINE IS READY FOR HIS CLOSEUP

When is the last time you saw a REALLY HANDSOME man? In a sea of baseball caps and beards, a looker of Chris Pine’s caliber is a rare find. Nice to see him cleaned up for the London premier of his movie Outlaw King. Chris is very under the radar when it comes to his private life, and it’s entirely possible you didn’t know he has a girlfriend. He was first seen with British actress Annabelle Wallis in April, and they’ve been together ever since. She’s met Chris’s parents – they vacationed together on a yacht in Italy in August. So this handsome man is taken.

PETE DAVIDSON: ONE JOKE TOO MANY

Her ex-boyfriend Mac Miller‘s untimely death was what made Ariana Grande realize she had made a HUGE mistake rushing into a relationship with goofy but loveable SNL comic Pete Davidson. Ariana was DISTRAUGHT when she heard about Mac, and Pete showed absolutely no empathy. Instead of talking about it and consoling her, Pete changed the subject and cracked jokes. This time she didn’t laugh. She couldn’t help but compare Mac’s sensitivity to Pete’s brash humor and lack of feelings. Both Pete and Ariana have covered their “love” tattoos and he no longer has access to her fancy apartment building. Pete’s friends are jokingly taking up a collection for him now that he’s out in the cold.

ADAM LEVINE TOOK A CHANCE AND IT PAID OFF BIGTIME

Actually all bearded men in hoodies look alike, so Adam Levine doesn’t need the glasses to disguise himself. He looks very gruff and his 8 month old baby daughter Gio looks very sociable. Five years ago, when Adam signed to appear on The Voice, other musicians thought he was “selling out” and jeopardizing his music career with Maroon 5. But realistic Adam liked the idea of paying his bills AND being a musician so he took a chance. Now that he’s pulling in 35 million per year for TV, concerts, etc, doing reality TV doesn’t seem like such a bad idea…

BACK TO SCHOOL WITH MADONNA

Madonna wasn’t in the mood to be noticed at JFK so she disguised herself as a college girl in her hooded puffy jacket, letter sweater, and snappy track pants. Even her braids worked with the outfit, but the odd hat (a hat AND a hood?) and tinted glasses gave her away…

MELISSA MCCARTHY AS YOU’VE NEVER SEEN HER

Melissa McCarthy is a whole new person in her upcoming movie Can You Ever Forgive Me? and it might be the best role she’s ever had. She plays a real person in this true story – a curmudgeonly failed New York writer named Lee Israel who became a literary forger out of financial necessity. (Her cat needed expensive surgery.) She’s also an alcoholic with a dour personality and no interest in fashion. But she’s clever, and starts forging amusing letters, supposedly written by Oscar Wilde, Dorothy Parker, and other notables – they sell to collectors for a high price. Her adventures and eccentric friend played by Richard E Grant make for a smart and amusing comedy/drama.

LADY GAGA ‘S TRIBUTE TO TALKING HEADS’ DAVID BYRNE

Lady Gaga can take a look – any look- and do it BIGGER and better than anyone else! And usually, FUNNIER. It looks like Gaga stole one of David Byrne’s BIG SUITS from the raging 80’s – note the huge shoulders. Funny that Gaga chooses to dress rather like a man for the 25th Annual Elle Women in Hollywood Celebration. SHE certainly has a lot to celebrate – thanks to A Star is Born, she is now officially an ACTRESS, and probably reading a lot of scripts…

WILDLIFE: CAREY MULLIGAN AND JAKE GYLENHAAL ARE FAR FROM PERFECT PARENTS

If you had a not-so-perfect childhood (isn’t that MOST people?) the movie Wildlife will bring you back to some very uncomfortable experiences. It’s set in 1960 and pretty housewife Carey Mulligan thinks she’s already over the hill at 34. She and Jake Gyllenhaal’s character have a 14 year old son who watches all their drama unfold, much like YOU did at home. Jake can’t hold down a job and he’s too “proud” to take one beneath him, so he volunteered to fight wild fires threatening his small Montana town, leaving his wife and son to fend for themselves. Lacking job experience, Carey’s practical housewife does what she figures she has to do – she gets a job teaching swimming and starts flirting with a wealthy single older man. The son is tormented by his parents’ actions and you can’t help but identify with him. It’s a wonderful script, beautifully directed by Paul Dano – a must-see if you appreciate sensitive films.
