Wow! Get a load of Tony Bennett’s date at Lincoln Center in NYC tonight! Yes, that is an unusually subdued, but glamorously attired Lady Gaga on his arm. The pair taped songs from their “Cheek to Cheek” album coming out in the fall for the Jazz at Lincoln Center event. Gaga says the 60 years between them are nothing once they start singing together, and she finds jazz easier to sing than pop.

Lady Gag Gag looks a wee bit like Maria Callas in that pix.
……..so tony loooooooooooooves to play the fiddle.
Why a great talent like Tony Bennett would associate himself with a Madonna tribute act you can see in your local pub is beyond me.
The fact that she says she finds singing jazz easier than pop may mean:
1. She has no idea what makes jazz tick and (mistakenly) thinks she already has it mastered.
2. She actually started out as a trained jazzer, but wants us to think she is just a natural talent.
3. For some unknown reason, she finds singing pop incredibly hard (maybe she’s thinking of all the choreographed dancing, not of the actual vocal techniques).
4. She feels condescending towards jazz; she hates Tony & wants to insult him.
5. She had fun recording. There was no pressure, because it’s not her primary project, so it felt easy.
6. She’s high.
Next will be a Kardashian or Jlo!
I just watched the video of Anything Goes, and I’m going to go with #2.
I laughed so hard I pissed myself!!
