Tom Hardy

PICTURE TOM HARDY IN ELTON JOHN’S PANTS

Guess who surprised everyone by turning up early at the American Film Market in Santa Monica? Elton John and Tom Hardy, the actor who’s is portraying him in the film biography Rocketman. The unlikely pair were promoting their movie, which starts filming next year. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Hardy is getting in the mood to play the iconic singer by wearing his clothes! Yes, he’s been checking out and trying out some of Elton favorite outfits. Do you suppose it’s possible they wear the SAME SIZE?

ELTON JOHN CHOSE TOM HARDY TO STAR IN HIS LIFE STORY

The mystery is solved. We were STAGGERED when we heard that hunkalicious Tom Hardy was cast to star in Elton John’s life story called Rocketman. Of ALL people! This is far bigger casting news than “Fifty Shades of Grey.” The dangerously handsome Hardy usually plays a tough guy or villain so this is really a stretch for him. Plus, he’s got a full head of hair! We couldn’t IMAGINE whose bright idea this was so we did a little research and learned that Elton and his husband David Furnish are producing the movie and THEY decided Hardy was perfect for the role! The two of them must be giggling their heads off somewhere…

ELTON JOHN’S LIFE STORY MIGHT BE MORE INTERESTING THAN YOU THINK!

Hot on the heels of the successful ”Behind the Candelabra” Liberace story, we hear that a musical fantasy version of Elton John’s life called “Rocketman” is in the works. Historically however, life stories with the approval of the central figure are never as hot and juicy as those written by someone like Scott Thorson. Elton would like to see sexy actor Tom Hardy play him or perhaps Justin Timberlake. We think Adam Lambert might be the perfect choice. After Elton’s gone, maybe David Furnish will write a tell-all book and THAT’S the movie we’d like to see!

CAN TOM HARDY FILL MEL GIBSON’S BOOTS AS MAD MAX?

Everything old is new again. Tom Hardy (above right) is hot and sexy in his reincarnated role in the new “Mad Max,” and he certainly compares favorably to the original star Mel Gibson in his prime. But will the new movie have the fashion impact of the original? The ragged, post-apocalyptic look of the original 1979 film with its abundance of twisted metal, feathers, and leather, was an inspiration to designers and club kids in the fashion world. It took the punk look one step further. Mel Gibson’s Max will be hard to beat.

YOU’D NEVER GUESS THIS WAS TOM HARDY

Hot actor Tom Hardy and his actress girlfriend Charlotte Riley partied at the Aqua nightclub in London after the Prometheus premier. (Top photo) Handsome Tom, 34. couldn’t look worse with that facial hair – hopefully it’s for a movie role. Whatever, it’s a waste of his good looks. (Bottom photo) He plays the villain in The Dark Knight Rises and his next project is Mad Max.

MICKEY ROURKE HAS OPTED OUT OF STARRING IN GARETH THOMAS STORY

Somebody finally came to their senses and Mickey Rourke, 59, won’t be playing Gareth Thomas, the 22 years younger rough and tumble rugby player who came out as gay in 2009. Gareth approved of Mickey but the role would have required too many computer generated special effects to be cost effective. Mickey found the physical demands were too much for him. Gays had been calling for someone “hotter” to play Gareth and they may have gotten their wish. RocknRolla hunk Tom Hardy, 34, is in talks for the part and he’s more than physically ready.

“INCEPTION” HUNK TOM HARDY IS THE NEW “MAD MAX”

As we were walking out of the movie “Inception,” despite our state of mental confusion and ringing ears, we DO recall women all around us asking “Who was that hot guy who played “Eames?” That guy who jumped off the screen into our daydreams was English actor Tom Hardy. (Perhaps the best thing about “Inception.”) And GUESS WHO was cast as the next Mad Max! Mel Gibson is OUT and Tom Hardy is IN. The new Mad Max script aroused the interest of many leading men in Hollywood, including Jeremy Renner. (Back in the 80’s, Mad Max had a huge fashion influence and nightclubs were full of the post-apocalyptic look) Twenty-five years later, Mad Max 4 and Mad Max 5 will be filmed back to back starring Hardy, along with Charlize Theron and Zoe Kravitz.
