Katie Holmes is giving her daughter Suri a taste of culture in Paris – they spent the afternoon at the Louvre looking at art. Later Katie and Suri went to the Fendi couture show. We can’t help but mention that Tom Cruise is not that far away in London. Will there be a secret meeting with Suri? It HAS to be a secret because Tom lives at Scientology headquarters in London like the one John Travolta lives at in Florida. Six years ago Tom sued In Touch magazine for reporting that he had abandoned his daughter, but in his deposition he admitted he hadn’t seen her in 110 days and ended up dropping the suit.

When she was younger, Suri Cruise looked more like her mom Katie Holmes, but the older she gets (she’s 12 now) the more she resembles her absent-due-to-Scientology dad Tom Cruise. Meanwhile, Katie is only 39 and starting to look like a matron. She cut off her hair for her new action movie, Doorman, with Jean Reno. Katie plays a Marine who returns from a devastating term of service and takes a job as a NY doorman while pulling herself together. She finds herself in the middle of a violent crime involving the building tenants. Sounds like a role Tom would have taken.

Sometimes the traffic in Manhattan is suffocating and you just HAVE to take the subway. Katie Holmes was silently squashed between two bulky guys who took up more than their share of precious space on the crowded Soho train. It’s still not clear whether Katie has a boyfriend- she and Jamie Fox were photographed holding hands in early September, but haven’t been spotted together since. Katie divorced Tom Cruise five years ago and she’s always seen alone or with her daughter Suri – some speculate that she had a clause in her divorce papers that she wouldn’t publicly date for 5 years. She deserves more than a part time guy….

DO TOM AND SURI CRUISE HAVE A SECRET SYSTEM OF COMMUNICATION?

When we heard that Tom Cruise broke his ankle doing another stunt on the London set of Million Impossible 6, several questions came immediately to mind. Did Suri, 11, call her dad to console him? Does she EVER speak to him? Tom‘s been living in London and has not been seen in the company of his daughter for years. Suri’s mom Katie Holmes has been declared a “suppressive person “ by Scientologists so Tom can’t have anything to do with her. Do you suppose Tom and Suri have secret meetings and conversations that Scientology knows nothing about?

WOW! SURI CRUISE IS STARTING TO LOOK JUST LIKE HER DAD TOM CRUISE!

It’s been awhile since we saw Suri Cruise in the bright California sunshine, and we’re struck by how she has changed! She always looked like a mini-me of her mom Katie Holmes, but as she grows up, Suri is looking more and more like her movie star dad! By all accounts, it’s been three years since she actually SAW her father, (Scientology rules?) and we wonder if this photo will stimulate Tom to get in touch. Above, Katie’s at her home in Calabasas and she picked up Suri after school and they went for a cold drink at Starbucks.

KATIE HOLMES IS RELIVING JACKIE KENNEDY’S LIFE

This is Katie Holmes’second time playing Jacqueline Kennedy, but there IS a difference. Her current film, The Kennedys: After Camelot is all about Jackie O when she was with Aristotle Onassis. Katie must have mixed feelings about her ex-husband Tom Cruise these days. On one hand she’s glad that he’s not around, BUT Tom has been neglecting their little girl Suri. Tom sold his California home where he used to love entertaining Suri when he had custody time with her. It seems he’s always working and has no time for Suri, but he sees his other kids (with Nicole Kidman.) Scientology doesn’t want members to stay in touch with relatives who have left the church, but celebrity Tom wouldn’t have such restrictions. So why doesn’t he spend time with Suri? Sometimes our readers are amazingly observant. This photo of David Miscavige in his military best also features a picture of him and Tom Cruise on the wall behind him. The photo was taken in 2008 when the Tom, his wife Katie Holmes, and Miscavige watched motorcycle races in Monterey California. David LOVES photos of himself with movie star Tom, but he HATES Katie for abandoning Scientology and taking Suri along with her. A smart reader pointed out that – if you look closely- you can see that Katy’s face has been BLACKED OUT! Destroyed! Really? And Miscavige wants us to think he’s a normal person?

KATIE HOLMES IS STILL SCARED STIFF OF SCIENTOLOGY!

Katie Holmes must have SOME huge and threatening contract agreement with Tom Cruise’s lawyers promising that she will NEVER speak about Scientology! That became apparent when her reps pressured ABC to APOLOGIZE for merely IMPLYING that Katie was featured on their 20-20 Leah Remini/Scientology expose. Actually, only an innocuous quote from Katie was featured on the show – she was not interviewed. But Katie’s over-reaction makes it clear that she is still and probably always will be, too TERRIFIED or too threatened to ever speak about Scientology.

PS: We find Leah Remini’s big mouth very endearing…

SURI CRUISE HAS THE BEST OF BOTH WORLDS

Nine year old Suri Cruise is sophisticated beyond her years now that she’s totally bi-coastal. Suri’s mom Katie Holmes bought a 3.7 million dollar 6 bedroom McMansion in Calabasas with a huge pool (Yes, Kardashian territory) on the West Coast and they have retained their NY home. Where they live depends on Katie’s acting jobs, but Suri has gone to school on both coasts. She’s spending this summer in New York where she was photographed with her nanny.
