Hugh Laurie

AFTER EIGHT YEARS , HUGH LAURIE IS GOING HOME

Now that the Fox series is ending in May, “House“ doc Hugh Laurie, 52, is about to become reacquainted with his family. Since 2004, Hugh has been living for at least nine months a year in Los Angeles while his wife Jo and their 3 children remained in the UK. Several times they considered moving to LA, but the children loved their school and they didn’t know how long the show would survive. After eight years of incredible popularity, daddy became the highest paid actor in a drama, pulling in $700,000 a week. Soon, he’s going home. Hopefully, living apart is not the reason the 23 year marriage has been a success.

HOUSE DOC HUGH LAURIE HAS A WEAKNESS FOR FLASHY CARS

“House” star Hugh Laurie is making the most of living in Hollywood by driving around in his bright red 1966 Ford Galaxie convertible. Laurie has a collection of vehicles to entertain himself because his family is back in England while the kids finish their education. Sure, the car is a gas guzzler, but Laurie takes home $400,000 an episode for his series.

HOUSE DOC HUGH LAURIE LIVES 5400 MILES FROM HIS FAMILY

“House” star Hugh Laurie started filming the show in 2004, and his family stayed in the UK so the kids wouldn’t have to leave school. His family wanted to wait and see if the show was a success before uprooting. Numerous Emmys and six years later the show is a bona fide hit, but Hugh is still living alone in Hollywood. However he DID move out of his West Hollywood apartment into a large home in the Hollywood Hills. Everyone expected the family to move in, but they just visit! When they’re together Hugh and his petite wife Jo love riding his motorcycle, and seem happy. What’s the deal here?
