Alec Baldwin is on his best behavior. He took his wife Hilaria, their baby Carmen, and their two dogs on a stroll to Washington Square Park. He carefully picked up after his pups to avoid any chance of a citation.

Anytime we can publish a photo of Wiseguy heartthrob Ken Wahl we jump at the chance! And this time it’s for a patriotic reason and not just our own satisfaction. You may remember, a painful back injury forced Ken to retire from acting and he credits a pet kitten for pulling him out of a long term depression. Ken is actively involved in pairing up veterans suffering from post traumatic stress disorder with pets. Many damaged veterans end up suicidal and Ken feels that pairing them with rescued service animals can save and repair lives. He’s become an official spokesperson for the cause and we’re happy to present his point of view on Memorial Day!
Comic and retired detective from Law & Order: SVU, Richard Belzer pulled a fast one by breaking the law while having lunch at Nello’s with friends in New York. The TV detective is known for being crazy about his dogs and rarely leaves the house without one of them. He’s active in the North Shore Animal League and always urges fellow actors to adopt dogs rather than buy from a breeder. Above, he appears to have a new pet concealed on his lap in the restaurant and we all know that’s against the law! But we wish it wasn’t.

It would be a crime NOT to mention the Panda Dog fad that is sweeping across China. A groomer there perfected a haircut and dye job that turns an ordinary Chow into a Panda lookalike in two hours. Suddenly the Chow is the breed most in demand because they are best suited to the Panda makeover. (The ears are perfect.) The Chinese have finally embraced dogs as pets and these adorable Panda Dogs have become a prestigious possession.
What better way to spend Easter Sunday than a ride through the park with your two happy dogs in Easter baskets? This man (identity unknown, but he resembles Kevin Spacey) took advantage of the balmy weather in New York and had a bike ride in Central Park with his two best friends.

Simon Cowell is still making himself available on the beach in Miami and it’s funny because his two little dogs are not as friendly to paparazzi as their owner is. The two feisty pups started nipping at a photographer and had him doing quite a dance in the sand.(Are dogs ALLOWED on the beach there?) He got a few nips on the ankle but Simon pulled the dogs off and made sure the guy got some photos. No lawsuits were threatened.

Jamie Dornan, currently filming “Fifty Shades of Grey” in Vancouver, is definitely not as fierce as the character he plays. Jamie was filming a scene where he ran down the street and while doing so he startled a little dog (probably an extra.) When the director yelled cut, Jamie ran back to make friends and pat the little dog on the head.

We thought it was disgusting when Teen Mom and plastic surgery addict Farrah Abraham admitted to Bethenny Frankel that she waxed her four year old daughter’s eyebrows. That’s NOTHING compared to her latest abomination. She went out and BOUGHT a tiny teacup Pomeranian puppy for her FOUR year old daughter Sophia. Instead of rescuing a homeless pup like a civilized person, she BOUGHT ONE at Doggies & Diamonds –a Fort Lauderdale shop that sells tiny dogs and jewelry!! Click HERE to be horrified. What’s more she gave the tiny pup to a child far to young to care for it. What chance does this little dog have?
While everyone seems focused on the death of Peter O’Toole, we lament the loss of American actress Joan Fontaine at the admirable age of 96. We loved her in Hitchcock’s “Rebecca” and “Suspicion” and her rivalry with her older sister Olivia de Havilland never ended. The Oscar winning beauty must have been quite a handful in her private life. She was not on a speaking terms with most of her family and many of her leading men found her “difficult.” In 1939 she appeared in “The Women” and went on to make 13 successful movies in the 1940’s – her heyday. Joan’s sister Olivia is 97 and living in Paris. Joan may have clashed with people, but she was always a dog lover – when she died she had four canine companions.
Eva Mendes is becoming so obsessed with her privacy that she wishes magazines would blur her dog’s face in photographs like they do for celebrities’ children in the UK. Does she think someone might kidnap her dog Hugo? We have a feeling that Hugo is Eva’s personal bodyguard and trying to abscond with him would be very foolish.
