WILL VICTORIA BECKHAM EVER LEARN?


Victoria Beckham, 41, enjoyed another successful showing of her fashion collection in New York (It’s been eight years now) but you’d never guess it by her demeanor. Her whole family sat in the front row next to Anna Wintour to cheer her on. Afterward the Beckhams went out to lunch together (above) and little Harper, 4, showed off her style in a Burberry coat with gold buttons. Despite her success, Victoria still seems VERY self-conscious about how she looks in photos and she comes off looking self-absorbed and unpleasant. People who know her find her friendly and fun, so we hope she gets over this photo-phobia. A pleasant look on her face would be a nice change. It helps to be a LIKEABLE designer.

THE BECKHAMS: WHEN IN LA, DO AS THE CALIFORNIANS

When the Beckhams are in LA, they like to do all the LA activities on the beach and in the gym. David is a regular at his SoulCycle class in Brentwood and frequently Victoria gets up early and joins him. David has his three sons involved in sports and gym workouts so the healthy California lifestyle is perfectly suited to the family. Unlike David, Victoria hates to be seen coming and going from the gym, so she keeps her head down.

DAVID BECKHAM IS SELLING WHISKY STRONG ENOUGH FOR A MAN, BUT GENTLE ENOUGH FOR A WOMAN

Who could be better than David Beckham at selling upscale Haig Club scotch whisky? And he happens to be one of the partners in the business. The mild sweet whisky is aimed at people who never liked whisky before. (women?) David told the Hollywood Reporter that when he was an athlete he never thought promoting liquor was the right thing to do. He added that his wife Victoria is particularly fond of the attractive blue bottle, which has been compared to a perfume bottle. (yes, women.)

DAVID BECKHAM’S LITTLE HARPER HAS FUN IN THE RAIN

Little Harper,3, couldn’t care less about the rain falling in London– she wanted to ride on her new Christmas pink scooter with a helmet to match. She probably has no idea that she’s wearing a Marc Jacobs tweed coat. Her watchful dad, David Beckham, 39, put up with the nasty weather to make his little girl happy. (How does he keep his hair so perfect in the rain?) Against all odds, David and his wife Victoria have been married for 16 years!

ROMEO BECKHAM IS LIVING UP TO HIS NAME

David and Victoria Beckham aren’t the only celebrities in the family. Eleven year old Romeo happens to be a model for Burberry and was invited to a big Burberry party at their Regent Street store. A Burberry spokesman raved about Romeo – he was surprised to learn that Romeo really CARED about the clothes and loves fashion like his mother. Romeo was also described as “polite and well brought up” so the Beckhams can be proud. (Click HERE to watch Romeo model)

There’s no doubt that Victoria Beckham works hard to keep that slim figure. She was photographed leaving a grueling SoulCycle workout in LA. Victoria kept her head down as she walked out behind her son Brooklyn, who is carrying little Harper. David and Cruz worked out in the gym and they all met in the parking lot after the family day at the fitness center.

We feel obligated to point it out when men succeed in looking exceptionally well dressed, because it doesn’t happen all that often. David Beckham seldom disappoints. Here he is looking incredibly dapper at the Wimbledon Lawn Tennis Championship in the UK. He’s sharing the royal box with another soccer legend – Bobby Charlton, who was apparently the “David Beckham” of the 1960s. We love that he has our last name.

YEP, IT’S DAVID BECKHAM HANGING OUT IN THE LOCKER ROOM

David Beckham is taking his H&M men’s underwear collection seriously. He’s more than just a model and spokesperson – he’s contributing to the designs. It started as a basic assortment of white briefs and t -shirts. Now he’s added colors, pajamas and lounging apparel. We love this ad with him wearing black leggings and matching shirt – or is it long underwear? No matter.
