A SWEET RIDE FOR TWILIGHT’S CAM GIGANDET

We’re always intrigued by celebrities who drive vintage or unique cars as opposed to the more obvious ultra expensive vehicles. Twilight’s Cam Gigandet is crazy about his beautifully restored Mustang Shelby GT500. After he parks, he likes to sit in the car and listen to music while he has a smoke. Cam’s movie with Cher and Christina Aguilera, “Burlesque,” comes out in November.

CHER’S STYLE IS A DEAD GIVEAWAY

Cher, highly recognizable in that cowboy hat, contemplated putting a Williams Sonoma bag over her head as she exited a medical building in Beverly Hills, but she held it in front of her face instead. It’s a cinch she didn’t have anything done to her face – like injections- because she would have left the BACK way. She might have the sniffles or allergies because she’s carrying what looks like some prescriptions. Cher just finished filming “Burlesque” with Christina Aguilera and Kristen Bell.

DITA VON TEESE EXCELS IN BURLESQUE AND BALLET

Looking like a 1940’s south of the border movie star, Dita Von Teese is pictured leaving Winsor Pilates in West Hollywood. She’s carrying a pair of pink satin en pointe ballet slippers (in the midwest we called them “toe shoes.”) Ballet dancing in pink tights is part of Dita’s act (with a big powder puff and large compact.) Did you know she’s an accomplished ballerina?

CHER IS GETTING INTO CHARACTER ON HOLLYWOOD BOULEVARD

The movie “Burlesque” is filming nights on Hollywood Blvd and it seems Cher is in all the scenes. She plays the owner of a burlesque club and takes Christina Aguilera and Kristen Bell (above) under her wing. This is the first starring role Cher’s had in a movie since “Tea With Mussolini” in 1999. We’re eager to see how her lips look on the big screen.

Christina Aguilera is very excited about making her first movie “Burlesque” in which she plays a small town girl (above in white high heels) with an amazing voice who comes to LA and gets a job in a modern burlesque club. The club owner, played by Cher, takes her under her wing, and there’s a reason that it sounds like a replay of The Pussycat Dolls. The movie’s writer/director is Steve Antin who is executive producer of The Dolls, and his sister Robin Antin is choreographer. We’re betting that Jonathan Antin will do the hair. Christina actually made guest appearances with the Dolls, early on, but can she ACT?
