WHITNEY HOUSTON SHOPPING AND NOODLES
Photo: flynet We’re happy to hear that Whitney Houston spent most of the day yesterday SHOPPING in Beverly hills and the higher priced end of Melrose. She drove in from her home in Orange County to hunt for new outfits to wear for a photo shoot for her new album. Instead of sending a stylist, she wanted to see what was out there herself. This is a very healthy sign – we haven’t heard stories about Whitney shopping for a long time – her life IS getting back to normal. After many purchases, Whitney had arranged to meet Ray J for dinner at his family’s favorite restaurant Crustacean.They shared a private room upstairs and feasted on garlic noodles. Ray will be spending a lot of time in the studio with Whitney giving her creative guidance now that she’s putting the finishing touches on her album.
Can it be that we have watched Sharon Stone all these years and never realized she had those big implants? A woman her age wearing a tank top with no bra is a dead giveaway that there has definitely been some major work done there. Tanks are intended for the very young and slim. Since we don’t remember her wearing flimsy tank tops in the past we’re going to assume this augmentation is a recent investment. Actually we preferred her slender model shape to this voluptuous look. It looked more aristocratic.
WARNING! We’re not sure why we find this report so revolting, but someone just told us that Carrot Top has been seen walking around West Hollywood with his shirt OFF. Yikes – even Matthew McConaughey doesn’t do THAT! Between his well publicized trips to the Bunny Ranch and the fact that he walks around Boys Town shirtless with those plucked eyebrows, Carrot Top certainly keeps us guessing.
Allow us to introduce Johnny Depp’s stand-in and double for the Pirates of the Caribbean: At World’s End. His name is Barnett O’Hara and did HE get lucky. Texas born Barnett auditioned for a role as a pirate in the movie but when the producers saw him they immediately hired him as a double for Johnny. Besides being similar looking and the same size as Depp, Barnett is a perfect hand match for Johnny. Whenever they had a closeup of Johnny’s character Jack Sparrow holding something in his hand, Barnett put on Johnny’s rings and jewelry and did the shot. He also did a lot of distance shots and back of head shots. When Barnett wasn’t appearing as Jack Sparrow, he was another pirate on deck so he’s in a lot of the movie. Barnett was totally flattered to even be remotely compared to Johnny, but we think he’s really cute as himself.
Suite 607 at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel and Casino in Hollywood, Florida where Anna Nicole Smith spent her last living moments, has been out of commission since she departed. The Seminole Indians have removed the furniture and are in the process of “purifying” the room. They don’t want any evil lurking on the premises, so an Indian Shaman is clarifying the area. They still haven’t decided what to do with the room’s furnishings – might we suggest eBay?
Looking good is the best revenge! Hilary Duff is still getting over her split from boyfriend Joel Madden that happened MONTHS ago (he was her first real love, so it takes time) and she was astonished and hurt when he immediately hooked up with Nicole Ritchie. But life goes on and it’s apparent that Hilary has made a full recovery – she has never looked hotter. (Is it the brown hair?) She could pass for Alyssa Milano’s little sister in this photo.
